*Too heavy

*The next morning

I wake up to someone shaking me lightly.

I open my eyes to see JJ and kie standing over me.

Jj: you okay?

Ki: why did you sleep out here?

K: what oh erm I'm fine we just-

I turned to my side and saw that John B was gone.

K: shit

I got up quickly and ran up the pier to see if the Twinkie was gone too.

And it was.

Jj and kie ran after me not knowing what was going on.

Ki: Keeks!

Jj: what's going on?

They finally caught up to me.

K: he's gone.

Jj: who?

K: John B! where's John B?

Ki: I don't know why?

K: he came home, and he was crying so we made a lil raft thingy and he broke down, he's too emotional to go looking for gold right now.

Jj: hey don't freak out, he'll be back just like yesterday okay?

He pulled me into a hug and we all sat down back on the pier.

Soon after John B same and met us.

K: hey idiot didn't wanna wake me up this morning.

Jj: wait you guys slept here, together?

Jb: ward took the gold

Ki: what, are you sure he took everything?

Jb: every bar,

John b pulls of his cast.

Jb: it's not like I expected a happy ending or some shit

Ki: John b

Jb: what kie it's a hairline fracture, who cares?

As they argue about his cast I look at Jj who is sat on the ledge chucking rocks.

K: hey

I place my hand on his shoulder but he nudges it off.

K: erm you okay?

Jj: perfect

I look at him all confused.

We pause when we hear pope running down the pier in a suit shouting.

P: guys guys! Oh oh god I ran all the way here!

Jb: you alright

Jj: how was the interview?

Great so he's taking to everyone else but me.

P: don't ask. Jb look I'm sorry dude about everything.

Jb: it's fine.

P: but but I don't have a lot of time. And I have information that is tactically relevant. So before I had my interview, my dad said he was going to the private airstrip to cut palms for Cameron's big plane. Because it was too heavy. It needed a longer landing strip to take off.
So I'm there sitting in my interview thinking to myself, I'm wbu would Cameron need a longer airstrip to take off? What could be so heavy to weigh it down?

Jj: gold

Jb: that's right.

P: exactly, guys this is our chance, but it leaves tonight and we have to go.

Ki: guys we can't give up now

K: well what's the plan?

Jb: were gonna steal that shit back.

Everyone starts running up the pier but I grab JJ to stop.

K: okay this is it, you need to tell me why your ignoring me before we go off and do this.

He looks at me and then looks down.

Jj: I've never had feeling for anyone like I do you. And I thought you had those same feelings.

K: I do, of course I do.

Jj: we slept together. And then last night you sleep with John B.

K: your an idiot. You really think I'd do that?

Jj: I didn't before-

K: you and I had sex, me and John B slept out here on the pier next to eachother, not together like me and you.

Jj: wait so-

K: so yes your are a massive idiot.

Jj licks his teeth knowing how stupid he was.
He looks up to me.

Jj: I'm sorry for doubting you

K: haha it's okay

He kisses me passionately. I jump onto him and he holds be just at the back of my thighs.

K: hey you wanna go be filthy rich?

Jj: only with you

I smile at him then lay one last kiss on his lips before jumping down and running up the pier.
