~Chapter Nine~

The group that fell down the waterfall managed to find a small cabin and decided to rest there. By some crazy miracle (or my lazy ass writing), the cabin had wi-fi. Sky decided to try to call someone, really anybody, and hopes that they could help. She tries to call Senpai, but gets greeted by a different voice.

"Hello"? asks Sky. "Hey Sky. What's up?" says Spirit on the other end. Sky was taken rather aback by Spirit responding. "Wait, I wanted Senpai! Not you!" she exclaims. "Well, he's sleeping, so deal with it." says Spirit.

Sky sighs and puts the phone on speaker-phone (by accident). "Anyways, how are the others? Please tell me you guys have to save us! We just had to deal with Kapi puking blood everywhere, so-" she explains but gets cut-off by another voice on the phone.

"What happened to him?! Is he okay?!" Sky sighs. "Yes, he's fine, Selever. Why are you so worried about him anyways?" she then says. "What? I can't make sure that the little kitty is okay?" he then asks in a rather smug tone, making the others giggle.

"S-shut up, Selever. I'm f-fine, and s-stop calling me k-kitty!" exclaims Kapi weakly as he snatches the phone from Sky. Selever chuckles on the other line. "Aw! I'm just making sure you're safe. Anyways, back to you, Spirit!" says Selever as he laughs and hands the phone to Spirit.

"So he calls you kitty huh?" says Agoti to Kapi in a smug tone, causing Kapi to slap him. Everyone starts to laugh. "Sorry about that, Kapi. Anyways, we have not found a way to save you guys yet..but we'll try to rescue you all as soon as possible." he says.

"Okay.." says Kapi weakly as he hands the phone back to Sky. Sky hangs up and then she turns to everyone else. "Okay, let's rest. And we'll try to think of something in the morning." she says.

Everyone nods and they all settle down and eventually go to sleep. 

{Meanwhile...}

The others were pretty much just glaring at Selever for "wasting time", Spirit says it was okay and that he wanted to lighten the mood a bit, but the others weren't buying it. "What was that for?!" exclaims Whitty in anger.

"Guys, calm down. He may have been playfully joking around with Kapi to lighten the mood of the situation. Please, we don't need someone getting hurt again." says Spirit. Everyone was either mad or a bit disappointed, but they all agreed to not harm Selever.

"Well, at least we know that they're alive." says Lavender. "Mhm, but now we need to save them!" exclaims Cherry in a worrying tone. "Can we save them tomorrow? I'm getting hella tired over here." says Hallo, yawning after saying that sentence.

Everyone agrees and they settle down, trying to think of a way to save their friends. 

{The next morning...}

Annie wakes up before her friends, seeing this, she decided to go outside and get fresh air. She hears faint talking in the distance, so she climbs a nearby tree to hide. It was pretty hard considering it was moist, but she managed to get a bird's-eye view at the top. She spotted a group of armed men heading towards the cabin she and her friends were staying in.

Seeing as she had no way of communicating with them (Garcello has her phone), she started to worry about the well-being of her friends.

{Inside the cabin...}

Everyone was up and ready to start the day trying to find a way back to their friends when they heard banging on their door. "W-what's that?" asks Kapi weakly. Everyone shrugs. "It could be Annie. She went out of the cabin and she's probably in trouble!" exclaims Sky.

Tabi cautiously makes his way to the door, placing his hand on the doorknob. But as he's about to open it, the door gets kicked down, launching Tabi to the wall. "There they are!" one of the men exclaims as he pulls out his gun, ready to shoot.

Everyone grabs the nearest object to them (unless it was Tabi because he has his knife)...and the fight begins. 

{Meanwhile with the others..}

The group was walking along, trying to find a way to save their friends, when they see smoke in the distance. "What the hell?" says Tricky in confusion. "What could be causing smoke?" asks Sunday. 

The group walk a bit closer to the edge and peer down. They see a messed up cabin with smoke coming from the windows and chimney. "Are our friends down there?!" exclaims Cherry in worry. 

"Anyone want to go down there and see if our friends are there?" asks Plague. Almost everyone raised their hands. "Well, we can't all go. So, only those who can fly, float, etc." says Selever. Everybody agrees.

{With the others..}

There were dead men scattered all across the cabin floors. The men really went after Kapi, seeing as he was the weakest, but the others wouldn't let that happen. One of the men tried to shoot Kapi, but Annie whacked the man from behind with her bottle. There was another man who tried to shoot her, but she jabbed the gun into his rib, took the gun, and pulled the trigger..killing the man on the floor.

She then proceeded to kill the man she jabbed in the rib and stared at herself in shock. "Woah. Who taught you how to use a gun?!" exclaims Agoti in shock as he strangles another man coming for him.

"Huh? Oh, I don't know how to use a gun. I just pulled the trigger down here and it shot the bullets." Annie says as she examines the gun carefully. Suddenly, everyone stops when they hear something like flapping wings. 

Sarv appears in the doorway, holding onto Lila bridal-style (NOT. A. SHIP..maybe..?).  "Leave our friends alone!" Lila exclaims. She grabs a broken piece of wood and charges after one of the men, impaling them on contact. Sarv then uses her demon powers to deflect any bullets that come near her, making them hit the men who shot them. 

Selever flies down, along with Impostor, and the duo go on a full-on MURDER spree. They were killing people left and right, which was kinda disturbing to the others, but they didn't mind. They managed to escape with what little energy they had left.

{After killing the men..}

"Well..that was an intense battle." says Selever out of breath. "Yeah, no shit, Sherlock!" exclaims Annie also out of breath. "Okay, but now we have a bigger problem. How are we gonna carry all of you up out of this..forest thing?" asks Selever as he's holding Kapi.

"Well, you can carry Kapi, sweetie, since you're already holding him. I'll carry Lila, Spirit can carry Annie and Ash, Manni can carry Eliza and Tabi, and Marie can carry Sky and Agoti." says Sarv. 

Everybody nods and they begin to fly up, well, except for Selever, who stares at Kapi for a few seconds, then smiles. "I'm glad you're alive, kitty." he says. Kapi tirdly smiles and hugs Selever. "Me too." he mumbles. 

{Once everyone was done re-uniting and stuff}

"Okay, where are we gonna go now?" asks Cherry. "It says that there is a nearby abandoned house about two miles from here. We could stay there for the night!" says Hex. Everyone looked at Hex with skepticism written all over their faces. 

"Oh, don't worry, guys! It's not haunted. At least that's what the page for this house says. We just have to be the judges of that." says Hex trying to reassure the group. Obviously, that wasn't working and they looked at Hex with the look of doubt all over their faces. 

"Hex, if we get kidnapped, it's on you." says Whitty. Hex nervously chuckles and continues to walk onward, with the group following closely behind.
