After the crew managed to catch up with the two boys, they worked on calming them down. After that was settled, they sat and admired the view. "Mom? Why does the sky look orange?" asks Skid to Lila.
"Oh! It's because-" says Hex but was interrupted by Whitty shushing him. "Well, when the sun comes up it sends these invisible light waves that scatter all throughout the sky, making the sky look orange-red. That's also why the sky is blue!" says Lila.
Skid nods and continues to stare, not even noticing he was leaning on Pump. After a while, everyone got up and stretched. "Alright, so..we're only an hour's walk from the nearest store! We can pick up supplies there!" exclaims Hex happily.
Everyone cheers. Suddenly, there was whoosh that went through the air and Annie collapsed onto the grass, fast asleep. Spirit looked at what hit her, which was a sleep dart. Sleep darts started to fly from the trees and everyone had a hard time dodging them because, well, they were on a cliff ledge.
"Guys! We no other option but to jump!" exclaims Sarv as she narrowly dodges a sleep dart. Everyone who could fly or float nodded and picked up as many people as they could and proceeded to fly/float down carefully.
Once on the grass again, they started running.

About an hour had passed since the ambush and they had finally arrived at the store. Monika placed Annie down on a nearby patch of grass and tried to treat the spot where she got stabbed. Meanwhile, everyone else managed to grab some useful things that they could use on their journey.
Annie had finally managed to wake up and when that was, everyone finished their shopping. "Annie! You're awake!" exclaims Eliza happily. Annie nods and smiles slightly, taking a sip of her drink then getting up.
"Alright, where to now?" she asks. Hex checks his watch and smiles. "Great news! The nearest city is only a two hour walk from here!" he exclaims. His smile quickly fades though, as he looks at the map again.
"But..we have to pass some big metal base on the way. It doesn't show the name, but I'm willing to bet that there are more men there ready to attack us when we pass by." he says. Everyone groans.
"Can't we just go another way?" asks Cyrix. Hex shakes his head in response, earning more groans. "Well, we better start if we wanna reach this city by at least sundown." says Senpai. Everyone nods and they continue their long journey back to civilization.

They had been walking for HOURS, as they had to take a detour because they got ambushed again. After finally escaping, they started their trek again. Once near a patch of small trees, Kapi pulls out some fidget toys and starts to anxiously play with them.
"Why do you have those?" asks Tabi. Kapi looks at him and sighs. "I play with these to distract myself from my tics." he says. Keith nods and sits next to him, also playing with the toys. After a while of eating, drinking, and playing..they continued onwards.

Everyone was walking tiredly as the bright moon shone above them. They had managed to finally make it to the nearby city. They decided to book some rooms in a hotel because where else were they gonna stay?
After paying a bunch of money, they all went into their rooms to rest. Little did they know..more mayhem was gonna break loose when they awoke..well, if they awoke.
