Day 10 (Pt.2)

The group all put their hands up in surrender. Well, almost everyone. Plague looks at one of the men coldly, causing the man to raise the gun to his head. "You think we're monsters? If you think about it, you guys are the monsters here. You nearly starved us to death, sleep-gassed us, made us throw up blood, poisoned us, beat us, ambushed us. Really, we're just trying to live and you're trying to kill us. So wouldn't that make YOU guys the monsters?" he asks in a smug tone.

Everyone goes silent. The man is about to shoot when suddenly..they hear distant screaming. "What the heck?" says BF in a confused tone. They turn to see that Spirit is lighting the men on fire. Plague takes this opportunity to take his scythe and attack. 

Everyone else manages to scatter over to the bushes and hide. "Wow. i didn't think Plague would have the nerves to say that." says Garcello, who lets out a violent cough after saying that. Annie notices and pats his back.

Tabi then gets up and grips his knife. "I'm gonna join them." he says and runs toward the bloody mayhem. Manni says she's gonna join too and rushes in towards the mayhem, making Sky worried. "She better be alright." she mumbles.

Senpai comes over and pats her back. "If I know anything about that girl, it's that she's powerful enough to protect herself." he says. Sky nods and they continue to watch the mayhem. 

{After the fight..}

The four come back to the gang, covered in blood. This makes everyone disgusted and Cherry takes some water bottles and dumps it on them. "There. That way, you guys don't smell like blood." she says.

Tabi sniffs his jacket and looks back at her, shaking his head. "I still smell blood-" he says but gets cut off by a loud boom. Everyone looks and sees that there was lightning that just hit. "Okay! Let's get out of here before me and the other robotic humans go haywire!" exclaims hex as he grabs K.O.U and runs.

Everyone else follows. Halfway through, though, Plague starts to get tired and Garcello has an intense coughing fit. "Guys..we need to rest. And besides..where are we going?" says Plague in between breaths.

Everyone looks at hex, who simply shrugs. Plague sighs out of exasperation, and is about to start running again when they all see that Garcello is breathing heavily. He falls to the moist grass, coughing up smoke and little drops of blood.

This worries Annie and she rushes to her besties' side. She kneels down and tries to stop the blood from coming up. But his coughing got worse until...it stopped. Annie was heart-broken and the others were shocked and sad.

Annie desperately shook her friend, making sure he isn't tricking them. She starts to break down in tears. "WHY?!" she screams. She puts her face in his now-moist jacket and cries her eyes out. 

Neon and Ash came to her side and hugged her. "Don't worry. He's in a better place now.." says Neon trying to sooth her, which was not working. Ash started to cry as well, for reasons unknown, but it was probably about Garcello's sudden death.

The trio get up and join the others. "Okay. We c-can g-go now.." says Annie choking back sobs. The others give Garcello's body one last look and continue on their way. Unbeknownst to them, Garcello had simply turn into a ghost and watched the whole scene play out.

He started to cry himself, seeing his friends break down in tears after his death. "I promise to see you all again.." he says and fades away. All that remains is his now-dead body on the wet, muddy grass. Leaves fall off the trees from the wind and the leaves eventually gather enough to cover up his body.
