'yay! glad you could make it! i have something important to tell you actually' niki told me

'what is it about?'

'well, we have been friends for quite a while now and the school dance is coming up right? well i was thinking-'

'can you be my date for the dance?'

at that moment my brain malfunctioned

it was strange having the dude that pushed you into a fountain into a nice friend into a dude who asked to go to a dance with him

it felt quite bizarre

'sure!'

'yayayayayay thanks! it's that i don't have a date yet :)'

'i have to go now! bye!'

'see you on saturday!'

i left the cafe and looked at the phone since my phone probably has a lot of clues about what's happening around here

thank god there wasn't a password

i opened google maps and clicked on 'home'

when i got to the house, i shuffled around the items in the bag and found some keys

i stepped inside and i must say indeed, the house was very nice, in fact, it was pretty

there was an older woman there which was my mother

'i'm home'

'hiiii darling, i'm gonna make dinner in a while, come downstairs when i call you :)'

later that day, i bought a dress and before i knew it, it was saturday
