this book was originally supposed to be left as an open ending
there are many questions left for you to fill in the gaps -- why was hyebin chosen to fall into the fountain? why was sunghoon also on the tram? what did hyebin do after she became a vampire? who was telling hyebin to keep swimming in the fountain?
you can interpert these question in any way you like !!
i have also started a book which is a sequel to this book (its called given taken) which follows sunghoon's story !! some questions may be answered there but feel free to check it out if you want !!
or you can leave it with an open ending for you to think about for yourself
