a/n: shhhhhh i know in korea there is nothing like a prom or home coming but let me have fun

i stepped out the car to the prom destination, and guess what, the riki was waiting for me on the steps

'i'm glad you came!! you look really pretty by the way'

i knew we were just really good friends in this world but something about that sentence made my stomach do a whole gymnastics routine

'haha, you look really handsome too !!'

'thanks!'

he took my hand and led me up the steps leading up to the entrance

there were already a lot of people gathered around the steps, chatting and laughing

the prom went smoothly, me and riki just sat in the corner laughing the whole time

it was honestly a really nice experience

it really and truly felt wonderful

that moment it went dark again

the lights suddenly disappeared and there was a murmur of confusion and fear

there were loud footsteps circling the hall

that murmur slowly and gradually turned into silence

right before my brain could process what just happened, i was somehow on the tram again from earlier

i looked down myself again but this time, i was wearing the prom dress from earlier at the prom but i felt something dripping out of my eye

it was blood

i could see perfectly well with no problem but how was there blood coming out of my eye?

i pieced all the puzzle pieces together and figured out i was stabbed in the eye

i was also pushed into the fountain right? so is it when i die in that life i get back on the tram again?

so was i actually conscious when i was swimming in the fountain?

i'm not sure what happened at the palace for me to transfer to another world but at least i'm making some sense now
