Chapter 36- I run

Liam's Pov

The morning light peeks in through the curtains. Lifting my head up, rubbing my eyes, I climb out of bed. Changing into jeans and any shirt from the floor. Slipping that on I wander down the steps. Turning into the kitchen I see Dani sitting there.
"Oh hey babe" I kiss his lips.
She doesn't kiss back.
"You okay babe?" I ask her.
Water appears at her waterline. Walking over to the coffee pot, I fill the coffee mug that sits in the strainer. Taking a sip, it tastes luke warm. My face scrunches in disgust. Yuck.
"I-I don't t-t-think this is...uhh w-working out." Dani stumbles over her words.
The glass mug crashes to the floor, glass pieces sprinkle around me.
"W-what?"
Walking around the glass shards, my hands grab her shoulders.
"You can't leave me Dani." I shout at her.
"I-it's not working out Liam." she shrugs my hands away from her.
"You can't leave me." I speak to her pronouncing each word.
"We're in different places. I can't be there through this time like you want me to. Liam just know I'll always love you." Dani tells me.
My head can't seem to wrap around this whole thing.
"W-we were fine a couple months ago." I point out to her.
Dani gets up and begins to walk towards the front door.
"Danielle!" I scream at her.
She turns around.
"You can't leave me. This is the time I need you the most. Genies gone and I can't lose you too."
Tears leak out of my eyes. They fall down my cheeks.
"I just can't do this anymore." she tells me.
My mouth opens to speak, I get nothing out before the front door opens and voice fill the place.
"Bullshit, you've been doing it for 3 years" I tell her.
"Like I said we've become different people. It happens to every couple they grow apart. It's apart of life, Liam." Danielle tells me as if she letting me down easily.
"We got stuff for Genies room" Louis speaks loudly.
"Why don't you just shoot or stab me that would hurt less than what you're putting me through right now." My voice cracks as more tears fall down my cheeks.
"What's going on here?" Perrie asks.
"Danielle, baby, please." I plead to her.
Completely ignoring Perries question. I wet my lips before talking some more. I look into Danis Carmel brown eyes. The ones that make me melt on spot. Tears fall from her eyes.
"We're not falling apart." I tell her. "We were doing just fine and then you lay this on me when you know I'm vulnerable." My voice begins to rise.
"Liam, the Sparks gone. It's done it's show and now it doesn't relight."
My hand grabs her hand. She pulls away. Instantly my hand goes to her cheek, caressing it."
"Please don't do this." My voice cracks.
"I don't know what else to do."
I wipe the tears that catches on the pad of my thumb.
"You do too. Stay." I implore, hoping it'll change her mind.
"We're drifting. I ignored it the first time I felt it. But now I know the sparks are gone. We can be friends."
Is she fucking serious?
"I-I won't be able to do that. I'll only want to kiss you're perfect lips, touch you anytime I can. We can't be friends. You may be able to, but I can't. I love you far too much to just be friends."
"I'm sorry." She leaves one last kiss on my lips before she scurries out the door.
"Danielle!" I shout in hope she'll come back.
"Liam.." Harrys voice rings in my ears.
"Danielle!" I shout again.
I start running towards the front door. Hands hold me back. I fight them.
"Danielle." I scream.
Sobs come out of my mouth choked.
"Dani!" I shout again.
"I don't think she's coming back mate." Zayn tells me as he kneels down to me.
On my knees I stare at the front door, sobs fall from my mouth. I hopelessly look at the door in hopes Danielle will walk back through and say April Fools.
"S-she has to be." I choke out. "I love her."
Zayns hands are placed on my shoulders. He looks me in the eyes as I look into his.
"If you love her than let her go. If she comes back it was meant to be." Zayn tells me. (A/N quote so cliche! 😉)
"I c-can't let her go." I sob.
"Let's go get you on the couch." Zayn stands up as he helps me up.

Using all my weight I lean onto Zayn. Feeling drained, my bum feels the couch. Turning I look to see its Perrie.
"I-I can't lose her too. She was keeping me from losing my mind." I tell Perrie in stutters.
"It's gonna be hard in the beginning and one day you'll pass her on the streets and she'll say hello and you'll reply and you guys will continue on your way. One day it won't be so hard." Perries hand rubs my back in a soothing manner.
Silence takes over everyone, my loud cries of desperation are the only sound besides Nialls heavy breathing that can be heard.
"I think I know what will get your mind off of this." louis says.
Looking up from my knotted hands into Louis blue eyes.
"We got stuff to decorate that empty room next to yours for Genie."
I look into his eyes, no emotion.
Simply nodding I slip off of the couch and climb the steps to my bedroom. Laying on my bed I hit my pillows. Letting out angered cries and sad sobs.

Genevieve's Pov

"No food for you. You were a bad girl yesterday. A bad girl." Mommy says as she hits the back of my head. "Go to you corner." She demands.
Scampering over to my corner, I place my hands on my knees. I watch them hopelessly eat their breakfast. The smell wafts over to me, making my stomach growl. I'm so hungry. You were a bad girl, Genevieve. A very had girl. My mind tells me. Even my mind has confirmed to the idea that I'm an animal and unfortunately I'm starting to believe it.
I'm losing more hope every day. Sometimes I just feel like Li Li isn't even trying.
"Since you were a bad girl yesterday, Daddy's gotta punish you."
Daddy stalks over to my corner and grabs my frail arm and drags me to more sunlight. (A/N picture in bottom right where father is point finger at daughter)
"You disobeyed us, Genevieve. It's time that you get a big whoopin." Daddy tells me.
I've become an abused animal in this house. Li Li always told me I was smart for being 9 with my imagination and all. Pain courses through my body as he smacks me around. My head gets banged against the wall, black dots dance around my vision.
"D-daddy that hurts." I cry out.
"It's what you get for being a bad girl." Mommy tells me as she watches him smack me around like a useless rag doll.
Soon it stops. Looking up through my greasy hair that has fallen into my face. Daddy stands over me with red eyes and breathe that reeks of last nights drink.
"That's my girl." his hand caresses me cheek.
I flinch away. Silently saying the only curse word I ever heard Ni Ni say; fuck.
"We're going out. There's gonna be another party tonight, toots and you'll be the main attraction." Daddy sends me a filthy wink as they walk out.
The door slams with a loud shut. They left me alone. All alone. I gotta get away. Run far till my legs collapse beneath me. Run till my body aches from all the horrible beatings. Run like a lost dog. Run like a homeless animal.
Shooting toward the front door, I reach for the knob and swing it open. The sun burns my eyes as I stumble carelessly along the lawn. Tripping over my feet, blood falls from my palms.
Without a second thought I got up and ran. I began to run as fast as I can. Coming to a stop, realize I left blankie and Li Li's jersey. Looking back I see I can run back and make it back out in time. They left a little bit ago so they won't be back for awhile.

Running back out of the house with blankie and the jersey in one hand and in the other left over sandwiches in a baggie they were in.
So here I am running towards the main part of London. My breathing comes out ragged and short. Reaching for a sandwich in the baggie, I stuff it in my face. Chewing it fast and swallowing it just to shove another one in my mouth. I wonder what mommy and daddy are doing knowing that I'm not there.
Are they screaming? Are they happy? Or do they simply not care?
My feet look up at the lamp post. It's dimly light. It's already getting dark? Where am I gonna sleep? Uh oh I didn't think about that.
So I do what I've become best at. Bunching my blankie up and shoving the last piece of sandwich in my mouth; I run.

I so happy!!!!
Chapter was quite sad in the beginning. I'm sorry to all then Payzer fans but you'll be surprised who finds her in the next chapter.
And no it's not Simon this time😉
