Third Person POV

All of the hotel residents and staff were outside of Salem's door, excluding Alastor and Salem. Charlie had tried calling to Salem, knocking on the door, and she even tried to open the door. The door was locked and no responses came from the person inside. Even Husker was worried, though more so cause he had heard a male voice telling someone to wrap their arm.

Angel was about to recommend breaking the door down when the group heard the clicking of shoes on the floor. Coming down the hall was Alastor, who had just returned from his 'business' only moments ago. Charlie rushed over to the smiling demon with a concerned look on her face.

"Alastor we need to get into Salem's room. Something happened that shook the whole building and now she isn't coming to the door!" Charlie pleaded frantically to the red clad demon.

"Are you sure you aren't overreacting my dear? I'm sure that Salem is fine!" Alastor said with an amused tone.

"I don't think so." Husker grumbled, catching the others attention.

"What do you mean by that my good friend?" Alastor asked, his curiosity rising with hidden worry.

"There was some guys voice inside. Told her or someone to wrap up their arm. Sounds to me like somebody got hurt." Husker told them, one of his ears twitching towards the door to listen for any further sounds.

Everyone was silent for a moment, taking in this new information. Alastor's radio static picked up just enough to be noticeable as he sent his shadow under the girls door. Before the others could start to plead with him once more Alastor teleported himself to his shadow.

The room was rather dark. The only light coming from a sliver of window that showed between black curtains. There was the unmistakable scent of blood that seemed to come from everywhere at once. On the floor in the middle of the room sat Salem. Her arm half wrapped over a rather large cut, a dazed look covered her face.

As Alastor moved towards her he realized that she was sitting in the middle of what appeared to be some kind of summoning circle. The circle itself both smelt and looked as though it were made of blood. The design of the circle was not one that he could place with any particular demon so he put that thought aside for the time being. Alastor knelt down beside the girl and finished wrapping her wound. Though she did not seem to react to the act at all which was worrisome.

"Salem my dear can you hear me?" he called to her quietly, aware that Husker may be trying to listen from the other side of the door.

The girl turned her head to look at him. He was rather surprised to see literal swirls in her eyes. Though she had physically responded she hadn't said anything. As though she weren't entirely there. It was even more obvious now that the girl was in a daze, and a rather deep one at that.

Alastor hesitated for a moment. Just long enough for Charlie and the others to get frustrated and start knocking. Obviously the group knew he was in there thanks to Husker. Pulling himself together Alastor carefully picked up the dazed girl. Her cat watching his every move but not interfering.

"Alastor is Salem okay?" Charlie's worried voice came from the other side of the door.

He layed the girl on her bed before going to the door. Unlocking the door he opened it just enough to step out and close the door behind him. "Salem is alright. She is just tired. We should leave her to rest!" he told the group as he guided them away, secretly using his powers to lock the door once more.

Alastor didn't want to give the others any more information. Not until he got some questions answered at least. That girl fascinated him and he wanted to know more about her than anyone else. He also wanted to figure out why he had been so worried about her. Especially since he had not felt worried for another since his mother. His mind was filling with thoughts of her and he needed to know why. He needed to know more.
