Sorry I didn't post yesterday. I ended up having a drink and went straight to bed, completely forgetting about it. I am working on future chapters though and this is the last chapter before a good ole time skip, yay. Anyways please enjoy. Further A/N at the end.

I woke with a groan. My arm hurt and my head was throbbing. In basic terms, I felt like shit. Looking around I saw that I was in my room, laying on my bed. When did I get into bed? I can't remember...the last memory I have is wrapping my arm and the sound of footsteps.

As I slowly sat up I caught a glimpse of a shadow moving into my room from under my door. Not even a minute later Alastor appeared in the shadows place. He held a bowl of something that smelled delicious. His smile appearing to widen when he saw me.

"Good evening my dear. Glad to see you're awake! You were quite out of it the last time I saw you." he said as he approached me.

"The last time you saw me?" I asked him confused.

"Yes my dear. Last I saw you, you were sitting on the floor in the center of this summoning circle! Speaking of dear, could you explain the reason and purpose of this particular summon?" he both answered and countered my question with his own.

I looked down at the circle that was now permanently embedded in the ground, "Well you know that I am a witch. This circle is something I needed to connect to so that living witches could summon we when they would need me. If I didn't connect to it with my blood then they would not be able to summon me." I explained before looking back at him, my heart racing uncontrollably.

Alastor took a moment. I could tell he was thinking and I was growing nervous. Though, I'm not entirely sure why. Maybe because he was far stronger than me. That seemed like a logical answer but I don't think that is why.

"I see, that must have completely drained your magic reserves. Though I am rather impressed. This must have required a very large sum of both magic and blood to complete. Well done my dear." he complimented me.

I was honestly surprised. I had not expected for him to praise or compliment me. There was a blush rising and I was once more thankful for being covered in fur. The genuine smile on his face made my heart melt. There was that strange intoxicating feeling again.

"I-it was something that had to be done at some point." I said as I tried to keep my voice from stuttering.

"Do you miss the living world?" Alastor asked me his eyes showing curiosity.

"I haven't been here long so I do miss it occasionally. Though that is really only because I had desired to spread more knowledge to both new and young witches." I answered honestly.

"Is that all you miss? Spreading knowledge?" he inquired.

"Yes that's all. I didn't have a lover or any loved ones in life. If I had perhaps I would not have been so reckless." I told him with a chuckle.

Was that a blush forming on Alastor's face? It couldn't be could it? "I see." Alastor said after coughing.

We were both silent for a moment. At least until I saw Alastor's eyes widen before holding out his forgotten bowl to me, "I almost forgot! This is for you my dear. It's white gazpacho!" he told me while his grin stretched back to its normal size.

I took the bowl and only now took notice of the spoon, "Thank you Alastor." I said while smiling up at him.

"It is no trouble my dear. How is your arm feeling?" he asked while taking a seat at my desk.

I took a few bites before responding. "It is a little painful but isn't completely unbearable."

There was a peaceful silence between us. I ate my food and Alastor sat watching me. His eyes told that he was thinking deeply about something. What that was is a mystery but I was enjoying his company none the less. As I took my last bite I heard Alastor clear his throat.

"Would you like for me to try and heal it?" he asked while motioning to my wrapped arm.

My heart started to beat faster, "Sure..." I agreed with my voice trailing off.

I watched as Alastor moved from the chair to kneel down in front of me. My heart beating more heavily so that I could hear and feel it in my ears. He gently took my arm and layed a hand on the wrap. Soon after both his hand and my arm were emitting a green glow.

Soon enough the pain faded completely and with it the glow. "Thank you Alastor, amica mea." I told him as I came to the sudden realization of my feelings.

"What does that mean my dear?" Alastor asked with curiosity in his voice.

My cheeks would surely be bright red by now, "It means my friend!" I told him, even though I knew well that it was a lie.

Alastor chuckled, "Well you are very welcome my dear. Rest now, it is rather late." he told me while taking the bowl and spoon.

With that Alastor left my room and I was left with my thoughts. I was falling in love with Alastor. I had called him my love in Latin. But I've only been here two days. That should be too soon to fall in love.

Though I had never fallen in love in the mortal world. Perhaps love could form rapidly. Calling him my love though was probably pushing a bit too much too quickly. This was not like when I would feel lustful, I should try to slow down. For fucks sake I barely even knew the guy! Could I really love someone I barely know? Or was this what the young girls deemed as infatuation? I suppose only time will tell.

I used google translate for the Latin. That is a rather difficult language to try and learn and I do not have the motivation or dedication to try. I applaud anyone who studies other languages or who are able to speak multiple languages. You guys are fucking awesome. Anyways the next chapter will include the biggest time skip thus far, there may be others and they may be longer I've yet to decide. Though I do hope you are enjoying the story so far and can forgive me for the amount of times I used the word completely in this chapter, I went a bit brain dead on other words to use.
