where it all began

one.

ELLEN'S POV:

      it was 5:30 am and I needed to be up at 7 for a meeting that Shonda insisted I attend cause it 

was "very important" I slipped out of bed slowly so that I wouldn't wake up my husband Chris. I 

walked to the bathroom and turned on the shower.. "I wonder what she has to talk about at this

 meeting.." I say out loud quietly and wonder. as I wash my hair with my lavender shampoo I can 

not get this meeting out of my mind. am I being fired? promoted? I just dont know! I get out of 

the shower and get my clothes on and proceed to blow dry my hair. "hey hun!" chris said and I 

turned around a little shocked cause we havent spoken in a few days. "oh uhm hey.." I say as I 

comb my hair. "I have to head out so ill see you when I get back" as I kiss him and walk out.

      I drive to the studio where the meeting is being held and I sit in my car for second letting 

thoughts race threw my head. I take a deep breath and get out of my car and slowly walk to the 

office. "hey Shonda.." I say a bit nervous " Ellen! hey come come take a seat." I sit down and look

 around " you said a meeting? is there more people coming?" i look at her and wait for a 

response "yeah we have one more person coming!" she says quite exited. I go to start a sentence

 before I hear Shonda come out and say "long time no see Patrick!" I quickly turn my head and

 see this hot man standing in front of me with his hear done per usual.. "h-hi pat!" I say as I smile.

 "hey Ellen! its been a while." I look at his lips and quickly look back up at him "yeah yeah it has! 

what are you doing here?" at he sits he starts to answer my question "well uhm Shonda thought 

it would be a good story line if I came back to the show." he said smiling "b-but your dead" as I 

laughed a bit "im sorry I just, I dont understand.."  and Shonda replies back with "well I just 

called this meeting to say that Patrick is coming back and we will go more into detail when you 

get your script! but its going to be a great season 17!" I try to fake smile because while yes I am 

happy to see and work with him it has been along time and things didnt really end well.. "okay! 

well im going to head out cause I have a lot to do but im just going to stop by the trailer!" I say 

and quickly stand up and leave not waiting for any response.

      i run to my trailer trying not to freak out cause OH MY GOD! I just cant believe that Shonda 

wouldn't talk to me about this and its just I dont get it !! I walk into the trailer and sit on the bed 

looking at the emptiness that is about to be filled with new memories as the old ones come 

rushing back.  I hear a knock on the door "yes hello?" I say and I hear a very perky voice "hey 

ellsss can I come in?" she said. "jess??" I say a bit confused "nooo its Justin" she says in a deep

 voice trying to make me laugh. it worked and I laughed "come on in." she walks up into my 

trailer and takes a seat. "soo whats the deeds with mcmarried and you?" she says as I pause and

 try to think of an honest answer "if I had to say? I dont even know.. I havent spoken to him since 

the last time we uuuhm.. had sex" her eyes open super wide and she stands up and screams

 "YOU SLEPT WITH A MARRIED MAN!" I look up at her and say "one, I am married too so pipe 

down and take a seat" I smile "oh right" she says as she slowly sits "and two stop fucking 

yelling!!" I said a little scared that someone else heard. "its just WOAH you slept with mcmarried 

 and I just cant seem to.. uhmm.. process." she said and I lay back onto the bed. "hes coming

back.. I dont know how or when but im most likely gunna have to kiss him and I cant feel that 

pain again!" jess was trying to listen and be a goof friend but I could see that she was a bit lost. 

"uh to do want coffee or something?" she said with a little excitement. "no im okay, is camila 

here??" I said hoping to find someone that is actually good at talking. "yeah do you want me to 

get her?" jess said and I sat up to think "uh no no I have to go back home and think this off by 

myself" I stand up and walk out of the trailer "bye jessss I love youu" I say as I walk to my car.. 

jess just stood at the trailer door waiting for me to leave. I get in my car and the first thought is..

 what is my husband going to think of this? I dont know if he's even going to want me to act with 

pat!! they never ended up getting along and I dont seem to understand why. I drive home and I 

sat in the driveway for a solid 10 mins before I heard the kids screaming and yelling. "lord I cant 

with them" I say with a big sigh.  I walk inside and the kids are sitting on the table and chris is no 

where to be found. "hey bubss!! where daddy?" I asked and Eli looked at me with hhis big brown

 eyes and said "I no know mommy I fink he went." as he points to the stairs. "thank you baby! ill 

be back guys I have to daddy but please please please clean up the table." I say as I rush 

upstairs. I go to open the door and notice their is a pair of his boxers on the floor.. my eyes open 

super wide and I pick them up knowing I am not about to open up to something good! I walk in 

and see him in bed with JILL!! "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?" I said as I slam the boxers on the 

floor and walk over to chris "HUH? TELL ME. YOU HAVE CHILDREN AND YOUR UPSTAIRS FUCKING

 THIS?!?! JUST GOD CHRIS I THOUGHT THAT YOU WOULD DO BETTER IF YOU WERE PUTTING 

YOUR MARRIAGE ON THE LINE." I was beyond mad and I couldn't even take it out the way I

 wanted to cause the kids were there "im sorry Ellen I am it-it was a mistake." he said just 

nervous. "yeah ell-" Jill started to speak as I cut her off "YOU can disrespectfully choke and shut 

the FUCK UP! you are such a slut! get out of my house! and two" as I look at christ "what you just 

did, that was the mistake that costed you your marriage so I hope it was worth it! I will be taking

 the kids and if you want to see them I will be at Kates." I turn around and walk out the door as 

he's screaming at me to come back and not do this. "come on kids we are going for a ride!" I say

 knowing there is going to be a problem "but where we gowing mama? I want to vet ice 

cweamm!!!" Eli said and I take a deep breath and smile at him "yes munchkin we can get ice 

cream!" I pick Eli up and walk the there two out the door.
