"Ophelia, you wouldn't happen to be able to do an obliviate spell, or you know twelve?" Selena whispered nervously.

"No, and even if I did, I'd pass out from magical exhaustion," I whispered back, not taking my eyes off the death eaters and their lord in fear of attack. Selena didn't know how to do wandless magic, and I felt like I had no magic left, so we were in a really bad place.

"Uh...hi?" I said, giving an awkward ward, "We'll be going now."

I took my arm off of Selena, instead grabbed her hand and started running. My breathing became erratic, and I didn't get more than twelve steps before I stopped and began coughing up blood. Something shifted in my lung, and I gasped, trying to get air in my lungs.

Come on, Ophelia, get it together, I thought to myself. Now was not the time to be resting. I heard Tom yelling at his followers, and Selena was tugging on my arm, but there was a ringing in my ears, and my vision began to go fuzzy.

Someone roughly grabbed onto my arm, and I heard a pop. Then suddenly, I felt like I was being pulled in all directions while sucked into a vacuum, increasing my chest pain.

After we arrived, strong arms wrapped around my waist, picking me up, despite my kicking and twisting. But they wouldn't let go. I tried to bite whoever was holding me, but they tsked in response and dropped me on a couch beside Selena.

I brushed my red hair from my eyes, wanting to see where I was being held captive. We were in a large room with marble floors, two glass chandeliers, a fireplace, and multiple couches. We were in someone's drawing-room.

Standing in front of us was a pale, blonde man with Voldermort beside him, only he didn't look like a snake. He was tall and had curly black hair and shimmering green eyes with specks of red in them. The weird thing was that he only looked like he was in his late 20s, not 70s like he should.

Selena nudged me with her foot, signaling for me to get ready to run. I shook my head. That was a bad idea. Plus, I doubted I could run but then again, the pain was probably better than being trapped in a room with your parents' killer.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you," Tom's deep voice warned. Selena shot out of her seat, dashing to the exit, ignoring his warning. Tom looked at me with a raised brow, challenging me to try to run, but I shrugged and leaned back on the couch. I doubted she would even make it to the door. Several death eaters were standing at different places in the room to make sure we didn't escape.

Before she even made it halfway across the room, she was grabbed and thrown back onto the couch by a man that had just entered the room. I let out a quiet gasp. It was the same man who had been following us in Diagon Alley.

"Thank you, Severus. Lucius, Severus, stay; the rest of you are dismissed," Tom commanded. As the death eaters exited the room, Tom waved his wand, and ropes shot out of his wand, wrapping around Selena and I's hands and feet, ensuring we couldn't escape.

"Tobias Orpington was close to you during your time at Hogwarts, wasn't he, Severus? It appears you shared a few of your darkest spells. Sectumsempra? I must applaud your spell work," Tom Riddle told the greasy-haired man, ignoring us completely. I scowled, so this was the man that caused my skin to be ripped open.

"He was one of my best friends, my lord," Severus told Tom. I squeezed my eyes shut, letting out a sigh. I had killed a man's best friend while he watched. My day was just getting better and better.

"What do you want with us?" Selena asked, interrupting their conversation as she struggled against the ropes. Tom glared at her, flashing his eyes red. Selena flinched back.
