The King's chamber was warm and comforting. Decorated pillars carved from the living rock adorned a shrine, few wood cases laid on it. Tauriel was silenty waiting in the entryway, staring at him, his effulgent hair, his graceful shoulders, his majestic aura ... she loved him with all her hearth. Thranduil slowly opened a beautifully ornamented box. He turned to her with a small necklace, a single shining crystal refleced all the lanternlights brightening their face. He gently placed it around her neck and whispered: "This gem always belonged to kings beloved companions and I give it to you, as you, Mirielamin *, touched my hearth beyond all my expectations ... darkness, mourn, anguish...we don't know how much we suffered ... how many scars ....but now, you feel... I feel ... our time is ending in this world....may we can leave it with felicity and delight." She closed her eyes as his lips delicately brushed against her own. He ran his fingers through her fiery red hair and kissed her more intensely. All the forest seemed to breath the extasy of two beautiful Children of Ilúvatar promise.
