*chapter 5 was just a filler so it was really short*

Hwa came home after work only to meet an empty apartment and a sticky note with a ‘we’re taking extra shifts, love you<3’ written on it.

He felt a bit sad now that he was alone. He missed the noise of his best friends; the whining of Wooyoung, the weekly karaoke sessions the kids have when they get free time, even the kitchen warzone that includes Yeosang cheating and showering both Woo and Hwa in water that takes forever to clean. He then just smiled and accepted the fact that his best friends are now adults (but are still his babies of course ;) and so he decided to watch a movie in the living room to spear his life from the feeling of loneliness.

Right in the middle of the movie his phone dinged, signaling a text has been received. ‘Odd, it’s an unknown number’ Seonghwa whispered, opening his phone to check the message.

Unknown Number

Uh, is this Seonghwa?

Did I get the right number?
                                          seen
Oh um hi! It’s me Hongjoong, the one from the bar.

“Hongjoong?” Seonghwa was surprised. He hasn’t forgotten about the young male that helped him in the bar and kept him company. ‘How’d he get my number tho? I don’t remember giving it to him’ he wondered but also later on replied.

Oh hey, yeah it’s Seonghwa!

How’d you get my number?

Oh yeah right um…
Yeah, I got it from a friend
Um you might know him
Oh my gosh, WTH of course you know him
Anyways uh it was Yunho:)

Seonghwa laughed at the other’s cuteness while the other one was dying in his room out of embarrassment.

‘What was I even thinking?’ Hongjoong thought and buried his head in the bed, ‘well at least he replied. That’s a start!’

Oh really? You’re friends with Yuyu too?
We could hang out sometime!
You know, with Yuyu and all ;)

‘Oh’ Hongjoong felt dejected, ‘maybe he doesn’t like me’

Oh yeah, sure haha

The conversation ended there with Seonghwa a bit confused, and Hongjoong feeling sad. He admits his last text was a dry one but he couldn’t help it. He felt super dejected when ‘his’ hwa wanted to hang out with all of them and when he called Yunho “Yuyu” he lost hope. He wanted the man all to himself.

He knew it was selfish but he really liked the boy even though he couldn’t admit it to himself. He was attached. The moment he saw Hwa at the bar being with an unwanted company. He knew he had to help him and if it was possible he would shove that man in another dimension right then and there, and when he talked to the beautiful man he just fell harder. And with Hwa in thought he decided to sleep his dejection away.

HONGJOONG’S DREAM:

‘A dark man shows himself in the mirror in front of the pirate king. He was showing signs of uneasiness even though he has a calm aura on. He started mumbling incoherent words that were gradually getting louder and louder, a series of “They’re coming” and “It’s not safe” were heard from the dark man. He was becoming more shaky and shaky.

After minutes, the man was still chanting those words like a broken plaque. He was stuck on those words waiting for someone to hear his pleas and signs of fear. Footsteps were heard behind the man and a shout sounding like, “We have to go now!” and that was when the dark man stopped and looked straight. “We’re coming, prepare for the worse, don’t trust anyone!” and the man shattered the glass’

And with that, a panting Hongjoong rose up the bed. Mumbling a short ‘they need our help’ before rushing out of the room.
