“They are so cute!!”

“Could you be any louder so you can wake them up?!”

“SHHHHHH!”

It was too early to wake up from whisper yells that Seonghwa turned to the other direction of the couch in an attempt to escape the sounds that disturbed his sleep. He moaned at the warmth that suddenly engulfed his whole body as he turned to that direction. ‘What kind of teddy bear holds waists too tight?’

He pondered and tried to blink the confusion away, but he was met with a large clothed chest rather than a furry stuffed one. He widened his eyes as he recalled the night before, agreeing to sleep with Hongjoong on the couch to ‘keep the kids safe’ – oh they’re safe alright.

He lifted his head up to find the rascals not even a meter away from him and the younger, their phones whipped up with sounds of camera shatters accompanying the flashes. He was about to go on Asian mom mode, when he felt Joong’s arm pull him close and snuggle closer to his exposed neck. He blushed making the entire scene look romantic, as if he forgot about the kids and their photoshoot—as if it was only him and the leader in the world—it wasn’t his ability but he felt time slow down for him. The kids’ giggles brought him back to his sane and embarrassed self. He leaned in to Joong’s ear, “Ya, wake up!”

“Five more minutes”

“Joong wake up, the kids are staring!”

“Just let them”

Hongjoong snuggled more—he was tired after all.

“Joong I’ll have to cook breakfast”

“Mhm, okay”

“Uh Joong? You have to let me go”

“I don’t want to”

“Then how can I start breakfast?”

Finally, Hongjoong opened one eye to peek, “Oi, sleeping captain, how’d the night go?” He groaned fast and let go of Seonghwa (as to both of their dismay).

Hwa got up not caring about the others swarming near the other and entered the kitchen’s premises. He checked every drawer and cabinet before putting on the chef’s hat (which means apron, I just like overreacting). He found every ingredient he needed to start the feast.

Wooyoung entered the scene looking as happy as ever, a smile plastered on his face. He sat on the barstool near the counter, releasing a slight sigh of contentment he asked, “what’s the menu today, mom?”

“I’m going to make pancakes, eggs, bacon, ramyeon and kimchi fried rice—oh! Can you pass me the ramyeon packs? Thanks!”

“Wow, this many? It isn’t my birthday yet, right?”

“Yes it isn’t, but I know all of your appetites and, after last night’s activities I know you all need the nutrients and have the capacity to eat everything in a span of 30 minutes.”

And that’s exactly what happened an hour ago. Right after Seonghwa yelled, “Breakfast’s ready!” Everybody crowded the table with even 5 minutes to spare at Hwa’s estimation. Now all gathered in the meeting room, this was the day they finalize anything that needs to be said and done.

“So what’s the plan, Capt.?” Wooyoung was getting bored of the silent room and he believes he speaks for everyone when he interrupted the silence

Hongjoong was in deep thought when Hwa snapped his fingers across his face to get his attention. He nudged his head to Woo and answered, “Well it isn’t mine to decide…” and they all fell their stares to the mom.
