𝐰𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝

𝟏𝟒; 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤

It was almost time for dinner and Seonghwa just finished everything he needed done at the school (by needed done, it just means cleaning the whole classroom inside out). Seonghwa looked at the room satisfied of how it turned out.

“Wow, I should clean here more often”
Hwa gathered his things and left the room. He locked the door behind him and walked to the nearest convenience store to buy snacks as his dinner. He arrived in the store and just got 2 ice creams and a donut for his dinner; which he himself thought was very unhealthy but he didn’t care at that point and just paid for it and decided to eat it at the park he passed by earlier.
 
“Ice cream~ ice cream~ ice cream~” Hwa skipped to the park and sat at one of the swing and started eating. It wasn’t that bright at that area but still enough light was shining from the nearby light post.
The park was quiet because he was alone and there were barely cars and people passing by. It was fine, he enjoyed the quietness and peacefulness.

From afar he looked like a lost kid eating while waiting on the swing. The environment and atmosphere was so serene and the faint glow on Seonghwa’s face made it seem like a dream – at least from Hongjoong’s point of view.
 

Hongjoong was driving home from the company and he passed by the park and saw a certain boy he ‘doesn’t like’ sitting alone and wanted to check it out. He parked his car a little far away from the park and walked to where the beautiful male was. He sat on the swing beside the said man and it seems like his presence was still unknown to him.

“Ehem”

“AHHH!” Hwa shouted loud and shone a very bright light in the direction of the voice. “OW!” it was now Hongjoong that yelled because of the bright light Seonghwa emitted through his palm. Hwa was shocked and put down his donut to check on the blinded man.

“I—I’m so sorry you just scared me and I—I was shocked uhm… I didn’t mean to! I’m sorry!”

Hongjoong smiled regaining his sight back after blinking a few more times and also said sorry for frightening the now guilty Seonghwa. “No it’s my fault, I’m sorry”
 
“Hongjoong?”

“Yeah, uh… hi?”

“What are you doing here?” Hwa asked confused. Hongjoong was put on the hot spot, “Uh I was walking home, passed by and saw you here. You looked lonely” Hongjoong scratched his nape as he lied. Hwa just nodded and continued eating his donut.

Comfortable silence engulfed them both and Hongjoong staring at Seonghwa the whole time he was eating. Hwa took notice of this and became flustered when he finished his donut and started eating his ice cream.

“You want one? It’s rainbow sherbet”

“How about you then?”

“Oh I have another one” Seonghwa showed Hongjoong his second ice cream and gave it to Joong. They ate in silence as Seonghwa got to thinking at what happened earlier. “Uh aren’t you scared?”

“Of what?” Hongjoong asked enjoying his ice cream. “Of me?”

“Why would I be?”

“Uh aren’t you surprised or petrified of how I almost blinded you?” Seonghwa stood up and pointed to his hand which was kind of embarrassing for him but it was cute – at least Hongjoong thinks so.

“Oh that? I know already”

“Ah o—wait a minute!” Seonghwa snapped his head towards Hongjoong, not believing the young CEO. “What do you mean you know?”

“I mean I knew you have an ability” he simply said and shrugged as he continued eating the sherbet. Seonghwa blinked, “h—how did you know?!”

“San and Jongho told me”

“THEY WHAT?! HOW?! HOW DID THEY KNOW?!”

Hongjoong flinched and Hwa noticed that and smiled apologetically. “Erm… so how did they know?”

“They said they saw all three of you in a restaurant at the mall an witnessed the whole fiasco”

‘Now great, the only time I use my powers outside and I get caught’ he face palmed and was still confused, “aren’t you scared then?”

“Of who? Of you?” Seonghwa nodded and Hongjoong looked at the later up and down sighting how fluffy and soft Hwa looked while curious. “I can’t be afraid of you” he smirked. Seonghwa got the idea and pouted which supported Hongjoong’s point further.

“See~?”

“And besides, why would I be scared when I myself, am an ability-user” he was so nonchalant that it confused Seonghwa how calm he sounded like when talking about abilities outside like that. Hwa slapped Joong’s arm startling the poor man. “Yah! Be quiet! What if someone hears you? How can you be so calm about that?”

“Relax it’s just us here”

‘Yeah that’s what I thought when I used my powers in that restaurant’ Seonghwa just rolled his eyes.
 

They talked some more and exchanged some stories and got to know each other more. “Ah it’s getting late, the kids should be coming home right now. I should go” Hwa said standing up and tidying up the area; getting all of the trash that need to be disposed.

“U—uhm I’ll drive you home!” Hongjoong offered, wanting to spend more time with Hwa.

“Didn’t you say you walked here?”

Now Hongjoong was the one flustered. His lie was caught and he was embarrassed. He tried to reason with a, “Yeah, I walked from where the car is parked to here” he logically maneuvered the lie.

“Now that’s smooth” they both laughed and walked to where Hongjoong’s car was. He opened the door for Seonghwa, ‘wow what a gentleman’ Seonghwa thought.

“Uhm thanks?”

“I said that out loud didn’t I?” Hongjoong nodded and Seonghwa face-palmed. Hongjoong got in the car and started driving to Seonghwa’s address. And to his despair it wasn’t that far, so he only had a couple more minutes before the other go home.
 
 

“Sangie, what’d you think hyung cooked for dinner?” Wooyoung giddily said walking home with Yeosang; much more cautious this time. Yeosang suddenly stopped and Wooyoung was also taken aback with the sudden halt.

“Guess we’re having instant ramen tonight”

“Huh? What do you mean?” Yeosang smiled and pointed straight ahead. Wooyoung looked at what Yeosang was looking at and widen his eyes.
 
There he saw his hyung, tipping down to kiss an unknown man’s cheek after getting down the said man’s car.
The two came closer to Seonghwa who was still looking at the moving vehicle, “who… was that…?” Seonghwa stumbled back by the sudden voice that came beside him. He was so embarrassed to see both of his kids eyeing him up and down and the car, now far away.

“YAH HYUNG!”

He was too embarrassed to speak and so he took the opportunity to run from the situation.
