Anastasia decided to go to school and to her surprise she enjoyed it.

While outside sitting on one of the school benches her phone rang looking and seeing it was josh.

Hey. She said putting her on speaker.

How's it going. The brunette asked as the blonde shrugged forgetting he couldn't see her.

Good, I have like 2 more classes, what about you? She asked yawning.

3 more, do you want to hang out this weekend? josh asked as the blonde thought about it.

Um sure ok. She sighed as the bell rang.

I gotta go see ya. She said hanging up and then walking to math.

Hey, Anastasia right? One of the boys said as she nodded grabbing her notebook and pencil.

Cool, I'm Miguel. The tan boy said putting his hand out to shake.

You're new, right? She asked looking at him.

Yeah. He said slowly as she just looked at him.

Sorry, I'm trying like read you out. She laughed sitting back.

Where are you from pretty boy? She asked taking out her lollipop feeling bored.

California, the valley. He said catching the candy she threw at him.

I've been there. She said as the teacher came in telling them to quiet down.

We should hang out. She whispered and he agreed. 

as class ended the two started walking and talking till they realized they walked outside the school building. 

hey you wanna go to my moms cafe. Anastasia asked as Miguel nodded and stuttered a sure. 

the two realized they liked a lot of the same stuff but even their differences are interesting. 

wow karate champ huh, whats that like. she asked as she pulled out her new ports and lit the end. 

its fun but its a lot of training and hard work, but the victory is ok. he laughed as the girl looked amazed.

that's some real shit, you should be proud. she smiled taking one last puff before putting out the half-smoked cigarette. 

ok so this is my mom's cafe its called topangas and i be working here sometimes if there's not enough staff. she said with pride opening the door and watching the boy look around shocked. 

this place is so cool. he said with a smile. 

the two sat down and Katey comeover. 

hey honey, what can I get you both? Katey asked hugging Anastasia, over the month they've been working together they've gotten close. 

  my usual, please. Anastasia said giving Katey the menu back and Miguel said a mango smoothie. 

so you've been to Cali. miguel asked as Anastasia nodded and pulled out her phone to show him the pictures.  

i love beaches, i love live music and i love to party so i feel like cali is the perfect place to vacation. she said showing him her pictures. 

your really cool. he said as the girl blushed. 

you miggy. she said now making him blush. 

hey. a voice said making the two look and see maya and riley. 

um hello. miguel said confused on who these little girls are. 

why would you sit and talk to this ugly waste of space when you could be friends with us. maya said making the two juniors laugh, this little 7th grader really thought she did smt. 

pretty sure it's illegal for me to hang out with you and even if it wasn't I still wouldn't because mean girls are so played out... I can already tell yall have some dry-ass personalities. miguel said as Anastasia laughed so hard she was tearing up. 

you seem like a good person and I just don't want my sister to turn you evil, like my friend said if i were you id want to hang out with us good kids and this devil. riley said as now Miguel rolled his eyes and went back to talking to Tasia.

so whats there to do in New York. he asked so she could rant, Miguel likes the sound of her voice. 

for me, the parties, and Coney Island, its the best they have beaches, an amusement park, a beautiful aquarium, and its far af from my sister so i don't get bothered. she said not realizing the look Miguel was giving her. 

we should go over there sometime. he said as she got excited.
