(Boruto Time Frame)
*Location: Hokage's Office.*
Naruto POV:
It was late in the afternoon in Konohagakure in the Hokage's office. "Mmmughh" Naruto mumbled under his breathe leaning back in his chair, closing his eyes and breathing out loudly. "Why is there sooo much PAPERWORK!" Naruto thought to himself.
That was until..
*BOOM* The Hokage's door to his office busted open. Naruto had leaped up out of his chair to be standing with his hands on his desk looking forward at the newly opened doors.
"DAAAADD!!" Boruto had slightly yelled. "When are you coming home it's already getting late" Boruto looked at his dad with his hands crossed with his head slightly tilted up. "I promise I'll be home by dinner time" Naruto said dusting off his clothes and sitting back down in his chair. "You better be Boruto had yelled while walking out with the doors slamming behind him". "God damnit" Naruto mumbled under his breathe while looking up at the ceiling and ruffling his hair with one of his hands.
*Time skip 2 hours*
Naruto walked up to the door step taking out a key and unlocking the door. "IM HOME!" he yelled while taking off his shoes. Himawari ran towards the door quickly. "Daddy!" she yelled out happily while hugging her dad(Naruto).
Boruto started walking towards them both at the entrance of the house. "Good you're home" Boruto said in a slightly annoyed tone looking to the side not wanting to look at his dad. Hinata peeked her head around the corner. "Dinner's ready." She said with a warming smile on her face. Naruto also warmly smiled back at her.
(Currently at the dinner table- Hinata, Naruto, Kawaki, Boruto, Himawari).
They all sat down and started eating in comforting silence. "So how was yalls da-" Naruto was cut off by Boruto starting to talk about everything he had done that day. Kawaki glared at Boruto for a bit. "Can't believe he just cut off Lord Seventh like that" Kawaki thought to himself while glaring at Boruto before looking down at his food and continuing to eat.
Naruto continued to eat until. "mm" Naruto had said under his breathe while chewing on food almost causing him to choke. "What?" Boruto asked looking at his confused. "O-oh nothing" Naruto said back, before Boruto continued to talk about his day while Himawari stared at Boruto with what looked like stars in her eyes.
Naruto continued to chew looking across the table at Hinata then looking back down to see Hinata's foot pressing against Naruto's crotch. Naruto swallowed his food slowly then putting his bowl down and putting his head down on the outer part of his hand trying not to blush with his lips curling up.
"Are you okay?" Kawaki asked. "Ah- yes I am sorry for worrying you it just seems I'm not that hungry anymore" Naruto said while letting out an awkward chuckle. "You're never hungry when it comes to eating with your kids" Boruto chimed in with an upset look on his face. "Let's not argue". Hinata said with a apologetic look on her face while standing up from the table.
Naruto looked at Hinata with a hand covering his mouth blushing "Can't believe she went from that to that, that quickly " He(Naruto) thought to himself. "I'm going out!" Boruto said walking away from the table and running outside" "DON'T BE OUT PAST SUN DOWN" Naruto yelled after he ran out. "Sorry I'll watch over him" Kawaki said while getting up slightly bowing and running after Boruto out the door. Hinata sighed with a sad look on her face. "Are you going to join them out?" Naruto asked directed towards Himawari. "No I'm actually really tired" she said stretching out her arms and yawning.
"Well goodnight then" Naruto said with a warm smile. Himawari ran up to her bedroom and got ready for bed. "Well I'm going to go take a shower to hopefully get rid of some of this stress" Naruto said getting up and heading to their room to take a shower.
*Time skip like about.. 26 minutes*
Hinata was in a tanktop and some comfy shorts sitting in their bed waiting for Naruto to come out of the bathroom. Naruto walked out of the bathroom in just shorts with a towel around his neck. "Well that did not get rid of all the stress" he said sitting on the opposite side of the bed from Hinata. "I can help with the other part of the stress" Hinata said crawling towards Naruto.
