No Control~Jasper Hale

First class of the day. Maths. That's just my luck isn't it. Every year since 7th grade I've either failed or got a D-,D+.

I walk in and Mr. Gomeral immediately realises who it is.

"Welcome back Amelie. Please take your seat." He says

I look around and see the only free seat is next to Jasper Hale so I walk over and sit down.

I see him slightly move his chair over,hoping I wouldn't notice.

"Hey."I say

He just nods at me.

I look back at the board annoyed. Why won't he talk to me?

His fingers lightly brush mine. I get a shock. They are freezing. But for some reason I'm no longer annoyed. I feel strangely calm.

I look at him and he stares at the board so I do too, still not understanding a single thing that happens in this class.

The rest of the class goes by as slow as ever.

When the bell rings he is the first to leave the class. Racing out the door.

I go through all my other classes until lunch.

I pass Bella on my way and she decides to walk to lunch with me.

"Hey how's your first day going?" I ask

"Going good I have Edward in my trig class." She says. She definitely likes him. I don't think they like much people though.

"Cool" I say. Not entirely paying attention.

I sit with my friends in our usual spot.

"Well this place hasn't changed in two years." I say

"So why did you move back to Forks?"Mike asks when I get my food.

"Well I thought 'what better place to finish school then with my best friends."

Bella comes and sits down next to Angela.

"Hey guys." Bella smiles sitting down. "How is everyone."

"Hey Bells." Jess smiles back at her. "How's your day been." She reaches across the table cutting me out of the conversation.

Great now she will be my friends friend and take them away from me too.

I get up to leave.

"Where are you going?" Angela asks me.

"I just have to do something." I say and walk out.

I hear Bella complain about me. "She's fine,she's just having 'a moment'."

I lean off the wall and sit on the floor.

I hear a group of people coming out so I wipe away some tears and make myself some what presentable.

They walk out talking but stop when they see me.

I see Jasper slightly shake his head towards Alice but clearly whatever he didn't want her to do she is doing.

"Are you OK?" She asks and sits next to me.

"Yeah I'm fine."I say as I tear rolls down my cheek at the worst time.

Jasper sits next to me with his arm touching mine and i get the same electric shock as last time and again I feel calm.

I see the others a bit worried when Jasper sat next to me but I don't know why.

"It's just my sister" I tell them "She is Charlie's favourite even though I chose to live with him and she chose Renée. She even got the new truck when my car was broken and now she's been hanging out with my friends too the past few days and they kind of just forgot about me. I don't even know why I'm telling you guys all this." I laugh slightly.

I see Edward look at Alice angrily and shake his head slightly.

"Well I mean you have us as friends if you need us" Alice says

I know he doesn't mean for me to see this but again I see Edward roll his eyes. Alice is ignoring him.

"Thanks." I say and smile. I stand up and brush my clothes down with my hands. I take a deep breath and smile at them. "Right well I should probably get to history."

"Oh Jaz has history too" Alice says "He can go with you"

We walk down to history in silence and once again we sit next to eachother.

"Okay so for your project due next week you will have to do some research on a person who you think helped a country they are from or showed a lot of bravery." Mr Caul the history teacher says.

I already know I want to do mine on Jasper Whitlock. Haha theres a Jasper sitting next to me right now. What a coincidence.

"Does anyone want to claim a person?" He says.Mr. Mclay has this thing when you claim a person it means no one else can use them for their project.

I put up my hand.

"Jasper Whitlock" I say and see Jasper shift slightly next to me.

"Ahh fabulous decision" He says and I'm already planning it all out in my head. "I'm excited to see it.".

Other people do things like Albert Einstein or Isaac Newton or George Washington.
