No Control~Jasper Hale

Im getting ready to go meet Jasper and can't decide what to wear.

I pull out a dress from my wardrobe and throw it back on the floor. I never liked dresses.

Next I pull out a jumpsuit but I throw that on the floor too.

I throw another 5 outfits before I find the one.

It's a black pencil skirt with a slight slit up the side and a white t-shirt.

I go to get into the jeep but then I see a Ford pull up outside.

"You coming?" Jasper asks sticking his head out the window. I laugh and get into the car.

"Thanks. Now I want answers" I say and he laughs

"Are you always this eager" He says.

"Yeah so get used to it." I say

"You really are something." He says

"Actually I'm a lot of things gorgeous,talented,funny the list goes on and on" I say

He laughs "We're here" he says and goes around to open my door.

"Why thank you kind sir." I say jokingly.

We go into the restaurant and I can see one of the waitress took a fancy into Jasper.

"The waitress is totally and utterly in love with you." I say

"What! No. She was just being nice" He says

"Oh please she was practically undressing you with her eyes." I say making mine go wide.

He just laughs.

A different waiter comes over "Hello are you ready to order?"and when we both nod he asks"what can I get for you."

"I'll have the chicken pesto salad please." I say

"She'll have the vegetarian burger with lettuce tomatoes and ketchup and I'll have the same please." He says

I question him in my head

"Trust me on this one." He says so I decide I should.

The waiter walks away

"Now spill" I say eagerly.

"Fine. All of us are vampires. Some of us have special abilities like Edward can read minds,Alice and see the future and I can control feelings." He explains

"Which is why when I'm upset or angry you hold my hand or hug me." I finish nodding my head.

"Correct. The only thing is Edward can't read your mind and we don't know why" he says.

"What about the eyes changing colour?" I ask.

"Hazel means I recently 'ate' so I won't be thirsty. Dark brown means I'm 'thirsty'." He says

"Which explains why you ignore me those days." I say.

"Yeah. I'm not used to not drinking human blood yet I only became 'vegetarian' when we moved to Forks" He says I know by vegetarian he means only animal blood.

"Guess that makes two of us" I say laughing.

Our food comes and he tells me all about the army and helping with the Newborn army.

"Woah" I say when he shows me the scars down his arm." Is it bad for me to say I think they are really cool." I laugh and he does too.

"Mm. You're right this is delicious." I say when our food comes

We get out of the restaurant and just walk around the town a bit laughing and joking.

We see people playing music and he starts dancing holding my hands

I laugh at him as he spins me around.

"Not to bad for a grandpa." I say

"Not to bad for a baby." He says and I laugh.

He brings me back to the car.

"Thanks for today." I tell him

"No problem I thought you could use some real cheering up and not just some vampire anti depresent abilities." He says jokingly.

I laugh at him.

He drives me back to my house.

I'm about to get out when I realise there is one more thing I want to do

I lean in and kiss him. His lips hard and cold. He kisses me back. And I get butterflies in my stomach.

I smile at him and say goodbye.
