When I get home I'm still pretty much drenched but not as bad as earlier.

"Hey Amelie can I ask you a-" Bella begins when I go inside. "What are you wearing?" She asks looking me up and down.

"Oh I was at the beach with Jacob and he pushed me in the water so he let me borrow some of his clothes." I tell her

"Oh. Well I was just out with Edward." She tells me. I know she's trying to make me jealous and clearly I already made her jealous so I just answer plainly.

"Cool."

She looks at me and opens her mouth to speak but I walk upstairs before she can.

I go into my room and go to grab my copy of The Hunger Games.

"Shit." I say holding my hand to my heart. I see Jasper reading Catching Fire. "What the fuck are you doing here?" I ask "Did Bella let you in." I say. I highly doubt she did.

"No. I rang the bell,but Bella answered and told me you were out in La Push. So I saw that your window was open and came up here." He explains slowly realising that doesn't make his story much better.

"Okay well next time just wait until I get home." I let him know

"Eh I would but I'd much rather climb up here and read all of these interesting books you have." He says and I shake my head.

"So what's up?" I ask

"Nothing. Can a guy not just visit his best friend?" He asks

"I've only know you for like a month or two and I'm your best friend." I laugh

"Well considering I don't really have any other friends... yeah sounds about right." He laughs and so do I.

I jump onto my bed and lie down.

"Who's clothes are they?" He asks, a hint of jealousy in his tone.

"Oh just Jacob black. He's a friend from La Push and he absolutely soaked me so I borrowed some of his clothes." I tell him."Don't worry nothing to be jealous of."

"I'm-I'm not jealous. I-" He flusters and I laugh at him.

"Relax I'm only joking. Jeez I didn't even have a reaction that bad when I found out you were a bloodsucking creature who could eat me at any moment." I say

"Yes well I am rather hungry right now. And you are looking rather tasty." He says walking towards the bed.

I smile "Oh really. Well what happens if I do this." I say as he sits on the bed next to me.

I peck his lips with a small kiss and smile. I look back at him and he's smiling too.

"Well now. I guess then I'd have to do this." He begins but gets interrupted when Bella knocks on the door.

"One second!" I shout and push Jasper off me.

"Go. Go. Go." I say pushing him towards the window. He jumps out and lands gracefully on the floor. I stare in awe until Bella knocks again.

I open the door and Bella looks around my room.

"What was taking you so long?" She asks suspicious of what I might have been doing.

"Oh um." I notice my copy of catching fire out on my desk." Just reading." I tell her

She sees my book on the desk and sighs "Well im hungry could you make dinner?" She asks

"Fine." I say and go to make pasta and meatballs.
