I skate home after school and see neither Charlie nor Bella were home.
"Great house to myself" I say quietly. I go up to my room and start playing my music.
Obviously it's one direction.
"Waking up beside you
I'm my loaded gun

And I don't care,its obvious

The pedals down,my eyes are closed
No Control" I sing as I look up things about Jasper Whitlock.
I find a drawing of what he should look like and he looks pretty much exactly like Jasper Hale. I mean everything is the same eyes hair face shape,smile, its kinda weird.
I hear Charlie come home and realise its been 2 hours of stalking Jasper Hale and Whitlock,in a non-creepy way that is
"Hey Dad." I say while I go downstairs to make dinner
"Hey hunny how was your day?" He asks sitting down.
"Good I guess. I met the Cullens they seem nice." I mention,still thinking about Jasper.
"Yeah Carlisle works in the hospital and they do seem like a very lovely family" He says
"Is Bella home?" He asks looking around.
"I don't know" I say and go back to making dinner.
Eventually Charlie goes into the sitting room to watch something on the TV.
I'm nearly finished making dinner and I'm still thinking about Jasper. Ugh. Why can't I get him out of my head!
The door opens and Bella comes in with Jessica.
"Hi!" She says
"Hey?" I say confused "Jess you told me you were busy today."
"I was but then Bella asked if we wanted to go out and I really wanted to go so..." she says
"Right" I say and escape upstairs. Jess was my bestfriend and now apparently she's Bella's
When I get to my room tears start rolling down my face. I know its a pretty stupid reason to be crying but but I am. It's always been Bella then me. And now she's moved back and made things a whole lot worse. I decide to ring Jasper, who's number I got from Alice
"Umm hey. This is Amelie." I say and try to make it sound like I haven't been crying.
"Oh hey. How'd you get my number?" He asks.
"Oh yeah. Um Alice gave it to me I hope you don't mind." I say worried he might not want to be friends with me anymore.
"Oh right for a minute there I was worried I thought you were some crazy stalker." He jokes and I let out a small giggle.
"Can I meet up with you...umm at the park" I say when I look out the window and see its a sunny day.
"Umm how about my house. No one else is home" He realises what he said and we both laugh. "Sorry it wasn't meant to sound like that." He laughs.
We talk for a little on the phone until I hang up and go to meet up with him.
He texted me his address which was very hard to find. But eventually I get there.
"Hey" I say when he opens the door.
"What's up?" He asks seeing me upset.
"Well I think Bella just stole my best friend" I say tears threatening to pour down my face.
"Shhh it's ok" He says and pulls me into a hug. I notice how cold he is but that soon goes away when like always I feel calm again.
Just then Alice pulls up in her car with Rosalie."Shit." Jasper swears under his breath.
"What happened?" She asks
"What the hell is she doing here?!" Rosalie said to Jasper "You know the rules."
I swear I heard her whisper something like no humans but I brush it off.
"I should go anyway Charlie will be wondering where I am and I have to talk to Bella" I tell them getting the feeling no one wants me there.
"Bye" Jasper says and gives me one last small hug.
1 WEEK LATER
Today we have to show our projects. I love doing projects. I love doing public speaking. I love doing school plays. I love all of that crap that Bella hates which is weird.
But before that a lot has happened over the past week. Such as
I think the Cullens are vampires I don't know but just one more piece of evidence could tip me over the edge.
Bella and Jessica have still been hanging out.
Jessica and me not so much.
And I've gotten a bit closer to Jasper. And the rest of the Cullens too.
I open the curtain and see that it's snowing
Bella hates the snow but I love it
I put on my clothes and run outside. I play around in the snow before going inside again.
"Hey Bella I'm gonna need a ride" I say
"You can have my truck Edwards driving me." Bella says
"What" I ask. Don't tell me they're friends now too.
"Yeah" she says a horn beeps and she runs out. I go shortly after them and ignore Bella for most of the day.
I go to lunch and see Bella sitting at their table.
"What's wrong Jess did your best friend bail on you for someone they've known for a few days?" I say as I come towards they're table
She frowns knowing what I'm talking about.
Jasper nods his head towards me as if to say come sit with us but I ignore him. I'm not sitting there if Bella is. It's petty but I don't care.
I walk out of the cafeteria and he follows me. He grabs my arm and I calm down again for some reason.
"What's up" He says "You've been completely ignoring me."
"Oh it's nothing I just didn't realise you were friends with my sister now" I say and walk off. I really shouldn't be mad at him.
He still follows me "Look if I'm being honest I'm only being nice to her for Edward."
"Promise?" I ask
"Promise" he says and I believe him. He doesn't seem like he would like Bella.
