"Boo if you took me somewhere just to kill me then say that" danielle said as kassen walked behind her leading her somewhere with the blindfold covering up her eyes.
he chuckled and shook his head as they got to their spot in the park. "can you shut up and sit down, ion gotta take you somewhere just to kill you dude" he told her while she kept grabbing for the blindfolded causing him to pop her hand.
"why you acting like a li kid. you so impatient just wait i promise you gone see" he mumbled. "sit down".
"but i don't wanna fall" she spoke grabbing his hand and he guide her down to the ground. she sat on the soft blanket slowly and took a deep breath. "ouu somthing smell real good what is it" she asked feeling around he he grabbed her hands sitting them in her lap.
"you a hand full mane" he laughed going to sit on the opposite side of her. he turned his legs outward so they could spread out since he didn't wanna crisscross them or anything. he felt like a nigga shouldn't do that unless he gay. ".you can take your blindfold off now" he told her and she quickly went to grab it pulling it off her face.
"awee, you did this for little ole me" she asked looking around at everything. they were at a empty park with literally no one around. the sight was beyond beautiful to her since she never been to a nice wooded area before. she read the big bold letters that were in the ground that spelled out 'Date' and smiled.
kassen had a big picnic date for her simply because he wanted to do something nice for her, and plus she had never been on a date before. he had candles burning just for the smell, some alfredo since it was her favorite food, a few gifts, and be brought some paint with the drawings already there.
"you don't see nobody else out hea' " he told her and she sucked her teeth glaring at him. "sike nah it is, i didn't wanna just take you to a restaurant because that li shit played out so i did this li picnic thing with the paint, even though we eating on alfredo and not li sandwiches. it's snacks in that basket over there, hand me that gift bag"
she grabbed the bag that was next to her handing it to kassen eagered to see what was inside the tiny gift bag. looking inside the bag kassen started smiling already knowing she was gonna cry. she looked up from the bag confused as to why he was smiling.
"you gone pull it out or- " she started to say but before she could finish be pulled out a tiny box lifting the top. the light in the tiny ring box shined on the ring as it spun around slowly.
