Draco stood outside, barefoot in the rain. It had been a couple weeks since the discovery of the twins and Draco still wasn't too sure what to think. The reality of his own death, at least his human death, was having a hard time seeking in. He tried not to let it show, but he failed. Harry had gone quiet over the last couple of weeks, blaming himself. Draco didn't blame him. What would you really expect for dating a vampire? Either death, or you'd became one yourself. It was really the only logical explanation or outcome. He was somewhat excited and scared. He was a teacher, and of course he wouldn't be able to start the next school year. He would barely be able to hide this pregnant at the end of the year. Harry agreed that next spring, if he had somewhat of a control on being around other humans, that it would be possible for him to return. If he didn't have a severe allergy to the sun, like some vampires did. What was really worrying Draco? Is the uncertainty of the twins. James had enlightened them, not all the vampire offspring survived and he didn't know how to handle that new. Going through his own death, a pregnancy and maybe not even be able to hold his babies? That is what pained him the most. The uncertainty of not knowing rather or not the two growing vampire babies, would survive the birth. "Your mother said I find you out here." Draco looked back, looking at James who, due to the rain and very cloudy day, wondered outside. "I've always liked the rain." Draco smile was true, but small. "Have you spoken to Harry?" Draco shrugged his shoulders. "I have, but I don't think he believes me." James rested a gloved hand over his shoulder. "He feels responsible and that's hard on him." Draco nodded. He knew all this. "My thoughts haven't changed. Disappointed I'll be missing up to a year on teaching, but I'll be back." Draco's smile was at least true. "You aren't teaching this week, how come?" Draco looked at James. "It's spring break week." James pulled his hand back down, and looked a bit guilty. "Bring up Harry taking you for a trip." Draco raised his own eyebrow. "You went lurking, I thought I told you not to." James nodded. "You did, but understand, Harry's thoughts are killer. I know he doesn't mean to project them, but he does. It's a good idea. Take Little Narcissa with you. She'll have to learn herself, Harry can, if need be, keep her from telling anybody else." Draco wanted to say no, about bring Narcissa with them...But she did need to know, she was young nearly five years old now. Would she even understand. "Where is a good place to go?" James shook his head. "I wouldn't know, Draco. I don't wish to get out." Draco nodded. "Mama says you need to at least learn to answer the phones, just in case." James nodded. "I will...soon enough." His voice was uncomfortable.

Draco found Harry sitting at the desk in the bedroom, some of his work notes out. He been doing mostly phonecalls, only going in on Mondays. He wanted to be close to Draco...just because the uncertainty was there. Harry didn't know the fact of Draco and that was very unsettling to him. Harry felt the kiss on his cheek and smiled lightly, wiping off the small amount of lip gloss on his cheek. "You said once spring break was here...we could go on a trip." Draco's voice was quiet and Harry looked up at him, half a smile shown. "I did, there's a few places we could go." Draco smiled lightly. "I...want to change your style." Draco voice was really quiet and Harry just cocked an eyebrow. "I thought we discussed this, time and time again." Harry's voice was slightly Annoyed. "You did, but it's stupid." Draco sounded upset, easing back to sit on the foot of the bed. Harry couldn't believe this, are they really about to fight over Harry's clothes? "Draco what's the big deal?" Draco just crossed his arms. "I get you don't get it. For whatever reason and I even agreed to a darker color as I don't expect you to go from your black suits to bright happy colour summer clothes." Harry ran a hand thought his hair. "No, I don't understand. It's been my style for hundreds of years, and unfortunately, you'll learn soon enough the likeness of the black." Harry's voice mixed between depressed and slightly angered. "I won't let it changed me, I can't. I'll still have a daughter and a life here." Draco let the first set of tears start falling. Something about the babies had made him all upset or annoyed at little things, something he didn't understand. Harry, after a moment of hestation, got to his feet and dropped down between Draco's legs. He brought a hand up, wiping the tears that fell. A thought had jumped into Harry's head, from Draco. One that pained Harry very much. It wasn't the vampire part of him that Draco dislike, it was Harry being stuck in his old ways, something Draco couldn't deal with. Draco wasn't sure if it was the pregnancy making these thoughts, but at the moment, that is how he thought and it pained Harry, very much. Harry would do anything to keep the man he loved so much...if that meant changing his style, then that's what he would do. "Okay...there's...a store in New York, you might like to pick something form." Harry's voice was soft and Draco dried the remainder of his tears away. "Can we bring Nass bell? Your father thinks we should." Harry hestation, but nodded.
