30.) Edward's Son.

The month was now August, an oddly cold rainy day, so Doris was outside with company she wasn't expecting. Since coming back home rehabilitation center, Ed, moved back in with his parents and noticed Doris out in the rain. He grabbed his rain coat and wondered over, easing down at the table she sat at in the Malfoy's back yard. "So, not goth." Ed said. "Not Goth. You've talk to Mackenzie, I'm assuming." Doris said. "A bit. There's a cream that might help, if your interested." Ed asked. "I'm not...used to things of your time." She said softly. "I'm aware, but it's safe on infants." Ed said. "There's not a lot of time I can be outside, maybe in a bit." Doris said. "Sure." Ed said, easing back into the chair he sat in. "Something you should know...Both my marriages were arranged. I wouldn't even know where to begin." She said. "Mackenzie told me a bit, but I don't wish to make you uncomfortable." Ed said. "I just...haven't been unchaperoned before." She said. "You are welcome to call somebody out here. Like I said, I don't wish to make you uncomfortable." Ed said.

The backdoor opened about a minute later, and Narcissa Bell wiggled up on her lap. "Pappy will be out in a few minutes. Hi, Edward!" Narcissa said. "Just Ed, Nass. I don't think I've seen you since you were just a baby." He said. "You haven't seen the twins! The new babies." Narcissa bell said. "No, I don't think I have." Ed said. "Two seconds." She said. "Be careful with the twins, Nass." Doris said.
It didn't take long for Nass to return with the twins, putting Faith, the girl in purple, on his lap. "Are you sure they can be outside?" Ed asked. "They will be fine. She doesn't like to crawl, but watch." She smiled putting Hope on the grass, and as soon as she got on her little hands and knees, she took off crawling, way to fast. "So, they are too?" He asks. "They are born. So they are just half, but more like their pappy." Doris said. "I see." He said, as the baby relaxed against him. He smiled down at the little girl. Her jet black hair going everywhere. "Well, she's cute, somebody's at the gate." Ed said and Narcissa looked up, she smiled lightly and waved them in. Ron and Hermione walked over. "Hello, Doris." Hermione smiled. "Hello, Hermione. What brings you two by today?" Doris asked. "Ron's coming to keep you company until Harry and I are finished, alright?" Hermione said. "I...know it's odd, thank you." Doris said. "It's no trouble, really." Hermione said.

Most of their time kept to keeping an eye on the three girls playing, well two. Narcissa bell and Hope. Hope giggled slapping in the little pockets of water and Narcissa bell ran around climbing up the trees. Faith kept her place in Ed's lap, at one point she fussed and grabbed his arm to hide herself form the rain. He then unzipped his rain jacket and covered her some with it. She giggled and nuzzled to his stomach, and fell asleep afterwards.
It wouldn't take to long for Harry to join them, and after a conversation away form the pair, Hermione and Ron took off, and he dropped down in the chair cross form the pair. "Something's on your mind." Doris said. "A lot, but nothing of important. I don't like dealing with human law." Harry said. "What's going on?" Ed asked and Harry let out a sigh. "I found out who was embezzling and now there's a trial and all this shit going on. Just a headache." Harry said. "I'm happy to look over the paperwork. It's been a couple years since I've been in a court room." Ed said. "I might take you up on that." Harry said, pulling Hope onto his lap. She giggled at her pappy. "You want this one back?" Ed said. "No, she's sleeping. You don't want to listen to that scream." Harry said, relaxing into the chair as Doris and Ed's conversation started back up again, for about an hour more, before the backdoor opened and Patrick yawn. "Rains about to stop." Patrick said. "you have to stop laying down during the day if you are just going to nod off." Harry said, getting to his feet, before calling for his daughter, Narcissa Bell. "Mac's unwell. Jackson's in company or I'd have him here." Patrick said. "Call him, he doesn't like you transporting him." Harry said. "He'll be fine." Patrick said.

Harry laid down the twins, after they were dried off and changed, fast asleep now on their cribs. He turned around, seeing Ed. "Edward, what is it I can help you with?" Harry asked, turning off the light to the Nursery and walking Ed out. "Is it odd?" He asked. "My father is with Bell, I'm with Draco, and Pat is with your baby sister. Doris, herself, is form another time. If you do enjoy her company, just work around her need of being chaperones, given time, I'm sure she can be talked into not." Harry said. "I don't really mind, not like I'm the most stable person. It's just...she's hardly 30 looking." Ed said. "My understanding is she was 14 or so when her first child was born. In fact, I heard Patrick was married off briefly to a 13 year old, pat was roughly 13 as well. He might of been fourteen." Harry said. "I goggled a bit about arranged marriages, I wasn't aware of child brith being that early, when it's a big deal if a teenager fall pregnant in this time." Ed said. "I'm aware, but understand, medicine as came a long way in 300 years. They are form a time 200 years before that, were. Virus also took most of their family. Time was different, and it isn't always easy to let go." Harry said. "Let your father building things still?" He asked. "Like my father building things. I can put you on my payroll. I could use a lawyer, would you mind?" Harry asked. "No, that would be fantastic, actually. Been...a bit since I've been...stable and I think she's been doing something. I've gain like ten pounds on sweets." Ed said. "She's making a bit cloudy, yes. To make it easier on you." Harry said, before the pair was walked on by Mackenzie, who didn't look very pleased, handing some papers to Ed. "I'd go get Doris before Sarah ends up eating a slap she won't just shake off." Mackenzie said a bit grampy. "Go back to bed, Mac. I'll deal with Sarah." Edward said.
