Chapter 8 - Lazy Day

Blu POV

I woke up in the middle of a field again. I stand up. Is this another dream? I look around to see that it was night.

I sighed as I walked around the unfamiliar Minecraft world. I saw some empty ponds and holes around the field.

In the horizon, I saw a cliff. I ran to see what was on the other side. I immediately regretted it.

I look out onto the cliff and got shocked at what stood before my white eyes.

The view spelled destruction. There were Creeper holes everywhere along with broken down trees and mob drops.

I saw Sheep suffering Wither. But they died really soon. Some Horses were also infected and I saw them collapse before poofing into white smoke.

A village nearby was deserted. There were no Villagers or Iron Golems. Only broken houses.

I heard a noise behind me. I look to see a young and familiar female Zombie. Her green hair covered half of her eyes.

"Blu?" She weakly asked. I ran to her and held her in my arms. "Blu, Im scared." She whimpered as tears fell from her eyes.

I calmed her down. "Ssshhh. Everything will be alright Zoey." I said to her. "Everything will be alright."

"Please come back." Zoey pleaded. I look into her dark blue-green eyes. "I will." I promised her before she disappeared in my arms.

The world then changed. I was no longer in the Overworld, but the fiery Nether. I saw as Nether Dragons died in flight and their scales fell in the lava.

"Please come back soon." I look behind me and see another familiar grey face. "Go through the Nether. Then your arrival will be safe."

I look at the elderly Illager as she pointed to a portal in the distance. "Just remember the recipe, then you'll be back in no time." She told me.

"Here." She handed me a small device. I knew what it was and looked at the Illager. "I must go now. But please promise you'll be back." She pleaded.

I nodded as I clutched the device in my hands. "I will be back. I will free this world from Herobrine." I promised my friend.

The Illager nodded. She summoned 2 Vexes to protect her on her way back to her mansion. Soon, she disappeared from my sight.

END OF DREAM

I woke up again in Cyrus' bedroom. I sighed as I knew what I had to do. I am a queen, so I must act like one. But no one else must know.

I was about to get up when I felt something hugging me. I look to see Cyrus fast asleep but his arms were around my waist.

I blushed as I kicked him off the bed out of instinct. He groaned as he woke up because of the fall.

"Grrr, Blu! What the heck!?" Cyrus glared at me. I glared back at him. "Were you hugging me all night?!" I demanded.

Cyrus blushed as he found out he was caught. "Ehh, maybe?" He replied questioningly.

I groaned as Cyrus got up. He looked at me. "What?" I asked. "We've got school remember?" He said.

I mentally facepalmed and did what a logical person would do:

I went back to sleep and left Cyrus to groan. "Ugh, Blu. You need to go with us to school whether you like it or not." He said as he tried to pull me.

I ignored him and tried to go back to sleep. Cyrus growled as he tried pushing me. But I just kicked him away.

"Must sleep." I murmured. Cyrus started shaking me. "Wake up!" He yelled in my ear. I groaned as I tried ignoring him.

But Cyrus then grabbed my foot and dragged me off the bed. I fell to the floor. The cold and comfortable floor.

I immediately tried to sleep on the floor. Cyrus was disgusted and kicked my head repeatedly. I stayed silent.

"Blu, if you don't get up, Im going to carry you all the way down." Cyrus sighed. I scoff.

"As if you can carry me." I told him as I laid down on the floor. But then I felt myself get lifted off the floor.

I look to see Cyrus actually carrying me. He was suffering but he was pulling it off. I started blushing.

"Ugh, fine. Just put me down." I said in defeat. Cyrus then literally drops me. We then go on to preparing ourselves for school.

I waited for Cyrus to finish so that I can have the room to myself. He noticed I wasn't doing anything.

"Blu, what are you doing?" He asked. "Waiting for you so I can have PRIVACY." I emphasized privacy. Cyrus scoffed.

"Fine. Im done anyway. Have fun with your 'privacy'." He said as he left. I sighed in relief.

I lock the door to be sure no one will see me. I took off my blue hoodie and stretched a bit.

I missed being able to not be in disguise all the time. I smiled as I combed my hair before tying it in a braid.

I then wore my hoodie again and fixed the hood to cover my purple antlers. I then kept the gloves in my pocket. I don't feel like wearing them today.

I then walk out of the room. But then I remembered my dream. The Elder Evoker gave me something. Wait a sec.

I checked my pockets and felt something small and hard. I took it out and saw the same thing the Elder Evoker handed me.

It was a portal opener. It could be used to travel to different dimensions in a specific world.

It meant I could only travel to different areas in this world. I couldn't go directly to my own world.

But I knew what to use this for. I hid it in my hair because my hair was always thick enough to hide stuff.

I then make my way to Cyrus and his brother. They were waiting downstairs along with their parents.

They all seemed so nice. I felt a bit guilty for hiding things from them and keeping secrets. Especially Cyrus.

But I am a queen and I must do my duty as one. No matter what it takes.
