Chapter Six

JAI'S P.O.V
Madi is sleeping. After dropping her off I realized that she needed me and when I went to her apartment but she wasn't there I panicked. I asked neighbours if they had seen her and one said they saw her walk to the mall. When I finally got to the mall I walked right to the fountain area. That's when I saw her. She was staring at my twin brother, Luke lip locking with a stranger. She looked a lot like Madi to be honest. Not as pretty.
Now I am walking to my car with a passed out Madi in my arms. Her full name is Madison but she hates it. Her life hasn't been the best since Luke and her first started dating. Her story with Luke is in 4 parts... One for each fight they had before the break up...
Part one:
Luke and Madi met at the park. She was with some friends fooling around and pulling pranks:
I put her down gently in the front seat and cover her with my jacket. Its snowing and she doesn't look warm enough. I hate snow. But I stick around in Canada, in the snow... For her.
Anyway she was pulling pranks and scaring people and Luke being the type of guy he is flirted with all the other girls before her to see if it would make her jealous, he is good looking after all, we look the same. It worked and he asked her if she wanted to go for lunch the next day in which she replied yes. It made me jealous. I wanted her to go out with me but I was too shy to ask her. I wanted her. Anyway cut to a few months later and things are going smooth until Beau our older brother finally meets her and doesn't exactly realize that Luke and her are dating. Luke freaks out and starts a fight with Beau which, we are guys and get over it pretty fast but after Luke got over Beau he went and yelled at Madi. He blamed her for flirting with Beau and said that she was pretty much a wh*re. After that they made up and I felt so bad. I've wanted to hit Luke since then. After all I've always wanted to know what I'd look like with a f*cked up face so why not just do it to Luke, after all he deserved it for the way he treated her:
I am driving and she talks in her sleep. Its adorable. She keeps saying something but I can't make out exactly what it is...
"What are you saying?" I ask.
She mumbles.
"I can't hear you, babe." I have more confidence now that she is asleep.
"Jai..." She says clearer now.
"Madi..." I say back.
After the fight and after they get back together Madi decided she wanted a nose ring. Luke couldn't care less. I figured it was because he had stopped paying attention to her. All three of us went together and I was the only one who made eye contact with her, I'm not sure if she realized but Luke was too busy checking out the girl getting a tattoo next to her. She had a huge a** but I didn't stare. Madi wasn't even MY girlfriend and I thought I was disrespecting her. She hadn't even noticed anyway. She stared into my eyes the whole time and the way she looked at me made me melt like a popsicle on a hot summer day. She stared right into my eyes and when they stuck the needle through her nose and she still didn't look away. She made the funniest face and said,
"Ow that hurt a lot more than I thought it would." Then Luke payed and said we had to go:
She said my name in her sleep. Madison had said my f*cking name in her sleep. Not Luke's, the one who had caused her break down but me. What was so special about me, I sure didn't deserve her. No one like us Brooks brothers did, yet we wanted her.
