"Its Never Gonna Be Me"

You walk home with your friends Minx And Puffy. Mind being your best friend and Puffy a new addition to the group. You had always thought you just never would find the right one but when you saw Minx and Puffy cuddling, your heart broke. You say on the couch as the movie played, Puffy playing with Minx's hair as they sit on the chair next to you. Minx looks over and smiles, you smiling softly back, pretending to be alright. Minx calls you over and sits you down with Her and Puffy, you smile softly as Minx holds your hand as you watch the movie. Puffy moves over to the couch and Minx latches onto you, breathing slowly. You smile as Minx mumbles something.
" 'm your blanket..." Minx says against your chest. You smile and nod softly.
"mm your warm to.." You say snuggling against her, slowly scratching her head. You look over at Puffy and smile softly.
"Wanna come cuddle with us?" You say softly.
"No thanks.." Puffy says going back to focus on the movie. You sigh softly, feeling bad since Minx was Puffy's girlfriend. You softly rub Minx's head as a new movie comes on. You look over at Puffy to see her fast asleep on the couch, you focus your attention back on the movie and relize Minx had fallen asleep against you, still cuddling you close. It was in that moment you relize, after 8 years of your friend ship that you loved the girl cuddling against you. You roll over and cuddle her closer, spooning her body.
"Good night Minx.... I love you.." you whisper softly thinking she is asleep. You close your eyes and start to drift off to sleep when you hear a soft:"I love you to Y/N...." From the girl next to you. You turn bright red as you snuggle as close as you possibly can next to the sleepy girl.
        The next day when you wake up, you see Minx and Puffy snuggling and kissing each other on the couch. Your eyes fill with tears while you watch the scene. You softly whisper to your self.."It's never going to be me...."
