Ahh, long eve dump ahead.

Iv'e been following Berserk for quite some time now, the emotional driven ride was no question vast and I can't believe how the skies changed colors in an instant because chapter 364 just got released and I'm having fusses thoroughly digesting it. So little yet something in it made me contented with the bitter sweetness. The ending was a cliffhanger no doubt but poring over at it, it's way too perfect to edge us as if Miura knew he's going to leave earth soon. I'm still mourning his death and I just can't seem to entirely accept that Berserk has no literal certainty nor any kind of reassurance that it'll continue but at the same time feel that maybe this conclusion can already serve us the best.

During the journey as a struggler, reading Berserk, ironically, comforted me in numerous ways, it constellated realizations as it also rekindled my buried sentiments. Kentaro, your characters -  I'm damn speechless on how well-developed, and constructed they are - specifically how you molded the main antagonist Griffith - your story telling, symbolisms enthralled me so much that it stirred me up to write better, to read more, to know more, to absolutely yearn for more. You left such an immense impact that I don't even conceive of getting snail sluggish re-reading your unfinished masterpiece.

I'm primarily an infant on writing about something I've read - also to someone who I have never met - and I've read a lot of books, novels to graphic novels but berserk is by far my first ever book that I've seriously made a writing about (Although this is more of a tribute) that's how enormous its influence is.

Berserk will unceasingly perdure as my comfort, my 'I got so overly-attached series', my straight to home, throughout the breadths of my being. Thank you Miura-sensei for such a legendary work, it's such a privilege reading your art and it will live on. May your soul now rest in the heavens, struggler. Fly high.
