"𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐤? 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐦 𝐈?" I groaned as my eyes blurred open, I was in a bedroom. "I told Hershel what happened, he's monitoring you." Rick replied. "Why did ya do that? I'm fine it's all good." I brushed it off. "How long have you been addicted to methadone?" He asked me as I sighed. "How old's Carl?" I asked him as he told me. "Right uh... It's a long story." I sighed to Rick. "Lucky we have all day then." Rick assured me. "Fine, I've been addicted since thirteen uh maybe fourteen. I got clean but I have... urges," I shrugged.

"How'd you get into this? Does Daryl know?" He wondered sitting on the bed next to me. "He knew I'd dabbled in the stuff, always took it away from me. I'm a jerk on the stuff more than usual, gives me mood swings but that relief. It's nice." I confessed hearing a knock at the door. "Can I uhm come in?" Beth asked. "I'll leave you both to it." Rick spoke leaving the room.

"Got me on house lockup... Look Beth whatever I said I-" I tried to say. "It's who ya are." She answered. "Just a piece of advise I wouldn't go insultin' a methhead baby doll whose tryin' to get clean again." I chuckled. "No! No I didn't mean it like that! I heard ya.. Earlier." She confessed.

"It's the drugs it does stuff that shit I said, it don't matter." I shrugged as Beth placed something in front of me. "Even so, I bet it's nice to have a friend." Beth softly voiced as I smiled. "I've never really had one of those... Everyone just wanted ta get in Ma pants." I confessed with a sigh. "Well here I am, ya first." Beth smirked sitting down next to me.

"Now aint ya sweet baby doll." I smiled to her softly. "So ya know, Ma highs dialled down now. Ya back to borin' even more mentally unstable Addison Mae." I told her. "Ya more special than ya know." Beth replied as I met her shimmering blue eyes. "Here was me goin' ta tell ya the same." I whispered out.

"There's no one else to blame; but maself. So I ain't gonna give ya any shit. This isn't me or it's not anymore. I felt shit bout maself, blamed ma upbrinin' but daddy's fine. So I will be..." I smiled. "Did ya ever find ya mom?" Beth wondered. "No." I simply answered.

"I found mine." She confessed as I reached for her hand softly grasping it into mine. "I'm sorry." I told her sincerely. "Uh it's fine." She shrugged it off and I sensed we'd talk more when she was ready. "Beth." I whispered out to her. "Yeah?" She wondered.

"Don't go.." I muttered as she went to speak. "B-But ya don't have ta stay I can find Shane or Lori or someone. Didn't mean ta force ya, I'm sorry." I stuttered, fuck! I'm always so stammering around her. "No it's okay, I wanna stay." Beth assured me.
