Chapter 7

Troye's POV

After we ate our meals, we immediately left toward the theatre. The movie would start soon, and we wanted to get there early as possible. I hailed a taxi quickly, and off we went, to a theatre that streams movies and advertisements. We got there, and went to the check-into-movies lady.

She said, "Third theatre to your left!" She ripped the bottom part of the tickets off and handed it back to us. When we found the theatre, the movie was about to start.

After the movie had whirred up, Tyler looked at me with a smirk on his face. He leaned over and whispered, "How'd you know?"

I didn't know what this meant. How'd I know what? What movie to watch? What time to bring him? I shook it off my mind and enjoyed the movie.

If I Stay seems to be decent so far, I think to myself. This must be either present time, or a flashback. I'm assuming flashback.

The flashback part ended, and there was the family of four, driving along a snowy road. Suddenly, a red pickup truck, driving at full speed, plowed into the family vehicle. Suddenly, the girl stood up, surveying the damage. She sees her family members, unnoticed by paramedics and called over to them for immediate help. None came.

She continued to walk until se found her own body, apparently critically injured.

The rest of the movie was amazing. Friends visit, the main character walks around the hospital, exploring in her unconscious mind of what's going on.

There were sad events, too. Both of her parents had died because of critical injuries unsustainable to support a life, and her brother passed as well, but later than the parents. After being emotional in her own mind, she gave up. She gave up looking around, she gave up grazing for her parents to run into the room to see if she was alright, she gave up hope to live. But she didn't entirely give up, though.

At the end of the movie, her boyfriend walks into her room with a guitar, and plays her a song. A close up shot revealed nothing but her eyes and forehead. The camera slowly moved in to show an amazing job of a cliffhanger. Unexpectedly, she opened her eyes widely. Then that was it, the movie had ended. Ended with a cliffhanger that would make people fill up with much suspense and suspicion.

OK SO THE SPOILERS ARE OVER PLEASE ENJOY THE REAT OF THIS CHAPTER! (I personally am in love with this movie so that's why I wanted to include it in this chapter!)

Tyler and I left the movie, and I stared into space. I didn't know what to think. It was until we got to a taxi when I realized we had been squeezing each other's hands. I forgot about Tyler. I'm a horrible person. I forgot my own boyfriend was watching that amazing movie with me. He looked skeptical. I was worried about what he would do to me.

Then, the taxi pulled up, and we got in without exchanging any words. Tyler told him his address, and the driver sped off toward my man's cave.
