Troye's POV

I don't remember falling asleep. I don't remember waking up either. All I remember was a white light and darkness. I don't remember what exactly happened, but I know my face was messed up.

I woke up, calmly. When I didn't see anything but a bright, bright white light. I freaked out. Though it hurt to life my neck, I frantically turned, looking at my surroundings. I heard people moving quickly around me, and suddenly two heads appeared above mine.

"Troye, Troye," the voice from the woman said. "It's all right, you're alive."

I stare at the face, examining it. I recognized the person, but couldn't put a name to the face. I looked at the other person. His dirty blonde hair and fair face were hard to misname. Tyler Oakley. I don't remember anything prior to a few hours ago, so I'm glad he's alright. He had a relieved look on his face.

"Troye," he said. "Troye! You're alright! You're alive!!!" He started to sob, so he removed his glasses, smiled from ear to ear, and put his hand over his face. He excused himself from the room. The woman remained by my side.

"Do you remember me?" she asked. I looked so confused, that she didn't let me answer "yes" or "no". "It's me, Jackie." She looked at me to see if I recognized her. I had the same look on my face. "Tyler's mother?" she questioned me.

Then, I realized. Since that breathing tube was stuffed down my throat, my eyes widened and I nodded my head.

Tyler returned into the room, face red, eyes bloodshot. He had a smile on his face that could light up a million souls. His smile could revive the dead. His smile could save a life. His smile saved my life.

I felt my eyes droop and my heart slow. I felt my head flying off my head. But I didn't panic. Instead I drifted off into a sleep that made me feel... peaceful. Soon, all I saw was darkness, then the dreams took over my lingering mind.

Tyler's POV

I watched Troye fall asleep. He looked relaxed, and that made me happy. His face looked like it used to. His bright blue eyes contained no fear, no alarm, and no emotion. I knew he was fixed, but that didn't stop me from being upset with that damn taxi driver. If he wakes up, I thought to myself, boy is he going to get a piece of my mind.

I also thought of the man who insulted me in the parking garage a couple days ago. I thought about what I "did" to him, but I came up blank. I forgot who he was. I never thought I knew somebody who looked and acted like him. I was just so confused. "Mom?" I asked, thinking she knew my dilemma. "Could you go to my apartment and grab me my laptop?"

"What for?" she asked. She didn't need to know what I was up to.

"I need to do something," I said back, but I wouldn't tell her what.

"What is what you call 'something'?" she kept interrogating me.

"Just go get it," I sighed.

She left, and I was left, contemplating what happened. What I did to Troye, many a week ago, why I didn't use Uber, which caused this massacre. I couldn't handle what I have done anymore. I caused this mess, and I won't be able to fix it without Troye's love, support, and forgiveness.
