Emerald was "working on some things for a scene" when Scrappy walked and over to the spot that was nearly below him. She paused before calling up to him.
"Em? Ruby said you needed me?" The higher male hummed before sending a glance down.
"Uh... yeah! Just one moment!" She paused at his reply before he went upside down and met her eye level with his eyes. She giggled a little as he paused. "What?"
"Nothing... you could've came all the way down or had me come up."
"Nah, too much work." She giggled again before sighing.
"Anyways, what did you want?" His face went pink as one of his hands slipped into a bag that was nearby.
"I... was wondering if I could ask you something!" She paused before raising an eyebrow and tilting her head, making Emerald's face heat up further.
"And that is?" He smiled lightly before pulling a box out of the bag and presenting it below his head. Her eyes caught it as he spoke in a soft voice.
"Will you marry me?"
She stood there for a good minute as he lightly bit his lip. She then smiled and squealed before grabbing his face and giving him a kiss.
"Yes!" He smiled before quickly getting down from his upside down position and giving her a proper kiss.
