Season 5B Chat

I just wanted to make a chat for the remainder of the Riverdale season. We only have 4  more episodes left (eps 16-19) and I am anxiously waiting for my #barchie ship to sail once and for all.

Many of you may not know but Roberto (the Riverdale writer) has hinted at our #barchie babes coming together towards the end of the season. KJ and Cassey have also hinted at a possible rekindle romance between the pair through interviews. 

I honestly cannot wait. If you guys have any updates on anything. I mean ANYTHING for our #barchie ship. I beg you please please please let me know. I want to know anything that will give me hopes for these characters getting together.

Also, feel free to use this space to vent or speculate for the upcoming episodes. I will be constantly updating this as we go along.

I'll start with:

 5x15: We finally started getting some #barchie crumbs. After starving for months on absolutely ZERO interaction. We got to see bits and pieces of our babies. When I tell I squealed seeing them at the same side of the damn booth!!!! And the way they looked at each other. AHHHHHHH! MY #BARCHIE HEART CANNOT HANDLE. What did you guys think?

5x16: Any speculations for now??? I don't think we are getting any crumbs this upcoming episode 😥😥

5x17: I don't even know what to make of this episode. It was so disappointing on so many levels. I honestly just feel betrayed by the Riverdale writers. They have kept baiting us since 5x08. And now with only two more episodes left I just have very little hope left. I don't think I will watch the last few episodes if I'm being honest. I'll just wait for it all to be release on Netflix and I don't feel like I'll be jeopardizing the show by missing two episodes lol. I've been watching every single episode up to this point But tonight was a dagger to the heart. And I just gotta stop watching now. It's too depressing and I am officially done. I'd appreciate if anyone could update me on the very few episodes left. Alright. I am done bitchin'. I'll update a new chapter tomorrow to lift those #barchie spirits.

5x18: Well let me start off my saying I spoke too soon. Last week's episode was way too disappointing and #barchies were throwing daggers left and right (myself included) but man oh man!! The musical episode did not disappoint at all. We didn't get much explicit #barchie interaction but all these implied crumbs about #barchie future were off the roof!!! I mean, come on, both Archie and Betty deciding that they want to stay in Riverdale and make their life there is the biggest hint of them all. Also, when Veronica asked Archie "where do you see us in 5 years?" and he replied with "I see myself in Riverdale". I almost passed out and had the TBK bury me alive. Cuz she said "us" and he said "I". So he basically implied he didn't see a future with her. I honestly felt bad for Veronica cuz she deserves better. And I'm happy she finally chose herself over a guy (even if that guy is Archie). I applaud that she saw the red flags. All the #jabitha content we got (I'm in love with these two).And last but not least, Alice and Betty's character growth in this episode was just a master piece. I love every bit of their interaction together. Best mother-daughter duo!!! Anyways, you guys can tell how much I enjoyed this episode. Let's see what 5x19 has to offer.
