Olympus, a relatively peaceful place where the Gods lived, there was always something interesting going on. Whether it be Apollo and Artemis arguing, or The Big 3 out on their weekly guys' trip, just generally good times, y'know? Life there was enjoyable, if you were a major god, minor deity or simply a nymph looking to start a new life or work for your keep. Everything was perfect for them, always.

Or so you thought.

Olympus was at war. Well, not with each other. A group of humans grew tired of the deities who were seemingly in control of every aspect of their world, and planned a rebellion. The group started out as a mere 5 people, so none of the gods thought it would amount to anything. It did, however.

Over the span of several centuries, more and more people became tired of the Gods and banded together. It's now the year 1954, and the group of rebels has grown to 50,000. They spent their time improving weapons, having gone from swords to cannons to handheld guns. Each of these weapons had been made with an alloy metal containing either Celestial bronze or Stygian iron, and for the guns, the bullets were made of such materials.

The rebels, known on Earth as "The Uprising," have several meeting bases across the globe, the main ones being in France, America, Russia, Greece, and Japan. The leaders meet up once every three months in the Greek base, discussing progress and strategy.

Their plan: get the gods to disperse to fight separately, then overpower them using any and all means necessary.
