Chapter 7

"I'm here for you, I will always be"

Harley runs out of the class; I was worried so I followed her. I was running behind her and I saw her heading to the rooftop. I then arrived at the rooftop; I saw Harley looking at the sky trying to calm herself. I saw a tear drop to her cheek, I walked beside her looking at where she was looking. She noticed me and wipe her tears away.

"Angel, Is that boy your ex?" I said out of the blue.

"Y-yeah, he is..."

That bastard!

"Are you still scared of him?"

"He beats me always when I was still his girl, I suffered with him... On top of that, he had the guts to try and rape me. " I saw a tear of sadness running down her cheeks.

I didn't say anything, I know I don't have to. All she needed was someone who will be there with her, someone to give her strength and comfort. Someone to listen. I want to be that someone.

I hugged her in my embrace, she hugged me back. I love the feeling of her in my arms, I felt comfort myself. For some time, we broke the hug and looked at each other's eyes.

"I got to tell you something. "

I have to tell her and be honest...

It's now or never...

"What is it?"

"I already knew about your ex, when you met Brent for the first time. Jessie told us what happened, she didn't want to but Brent pleaded to her. "

She looked at me, a hint of disappointment was visible to her eyes and it hurts me. I don't want her to look at me like that.

"D-did you come to me that day, because you pity me?" She said as I was nervous.

"What? No, you got it all wrong... " I paused for a moment and looked at her. "I just felt your pain because I went through it. I saw myself in you, I wanted to comfort you. I was afraid that you'll be cold just like me just because of a man you didn't deserve."

"What happened to you?"

"I had my girl once; we were always together and we loved each other. Well, that's what I thought.... " I looked at her, she was listening carefully. "But then, I caught her sleeping with another man.... My best friend..."

She looked at me shock as she was covering her mouth. "What? Brent did that to you?"

What the?

"What? No! It was my ex best friend, Mark dummy." I chuckled. "Brent would never do that... "

"Sorry, then what happened?"

"I heard her talking to Mark, she said she was just using me for money... "

"That bitch! What is her name! I'll find her and kick her in the ass, where is she?! " She said standing ready to fight.

"Hey! It's fine! Calm down and sit."

"I'm sorry for what happened, you're really strong. You're so strong to face these things and hiding it from others."

"Oh, I know I'm strong, see?" I lift up my arm and showed her my biceps, wiggling my eyebrows. She looked flustered looking away hiding her red cheeks. I laughed at her reaction.

I really liked teasing her, she looked really cute. "Hey! Stop being flirty!"
I chuckled again. "It's in my blood get used to it." I replied.

"Whatever."

I chuckled.

"Andrew?"

"Yes?"

"I'll always be here for you." I looked at her trying hard not blush but seems like I failed. "Your blushing! Andrew Parker? Blushing? " She laughed and I laughed with her.

"I'll always be there for you too... " I said while looking at her eyes.

"Thank you... " she smiled at me. I suddenly hugged her in my embrace earning a giggle from her.

Gosh, she's making me go crazy...

"Oh, what do we have here?" A masculine voice suddenly interrupted us.

We looked back from where the voice was coming from.

Ash....
