Chapter 2

-Mike's POV-

"I'm sorry to say this but, we are going to have to switch you to the night shift
Mr. Schmidt"

I couldn't BELEVE what I was hearing! "WHY THE LIVING HELL WOULD YOU DO THAT?!"
"There's a new kid and he needs some tutoring, and besides we don't need any bloodstains on the new flooring" the boss replied, his face stiff. "Can't Marco take the job?!?"

"He died three weeks ago." Boss said flatly

His frown suddenly formed into an amused grin "Better get some rest! It's gong to be a long night."
In response I just stomped out the door crossing my arms and cursing under my breath.
Little did I know of who I was to meet tonight. Someone that would change my life
forever.....

-Jere-bears POV-

What did he mean by "stay alive" and they move around! I mean that place seemed to
Scare me as a kid! I remembered who I'd met there, then it happened.

~flashback~

"All around the merry go round,
Bonnie chased the carrot.
When he thought it was all in good fun,
BOOM! Goes the carrot!"

I could hear Freddy sing as I sat in the back of the crowd.
Suddenly a boy started pulling on the hem of my sleeve.
Looking up I saw a boy around my age, having a bandana wrapped around his head, an eyepatch covering his left eye, and a hook where his hand should of been. But of course, the hook was just plastic.

"Hi!"
I bit my lip, not knowing what to say.
"Aye, ye be a shy one, ay?"
Nodding my head I looked past him for just a second to see Chica leave the stage.
"I be mike, but ye can just call me capt'n, what be yer name?"
"Jeremy....."

Suddenly a man walks up to 'mike'
"Hey." I see him tap mikes shoulder "I heard that foxy would like to see you... Just walk up to him and ask to be part of his crew, I'm sure he'll be glad to make you his first mate."
Mike squealed in joy as he ran towards pirates cove, I just stood here in stunned silence. I suddenly remembered chica leaving the stage, and going towards the back room.
My feet patted against the floor with every step, as I headed towards the back room.
When I reached the back room I looked around to see chica sitting in a corner, her face buried in her hands.
"Hello,"
She quickly looked up, and stared at me, her eyes filled with sadness.
I sat next to her gripping one of her hands.
"I know how you feel." I said, not stuttering once.
"Alone, not having any one. I can see that Freddy and bonnie just ignore you... And foxy is always locked away.
All I want you to know is that everything will be okay..."
Chica was completely stunned in what the little boy had just said. He suddenly pulled her into a tight hug. "I believe in you" he whispered.
Suddenly outside they head a crunch. Then a scream.
Chica ran outside as my mother picked me up and ran out the door.
The last thing I saw was mike, sitting in a pool of blood, tears straying from his eyes, as he mouthed, "I trusted you.."

~flashback over~

I shook away my thoughts as I finally made up my mind.....I was going to see what was going on.

-Time skip- 11:56

-Mikes POV-
I sat in my favourite chair, my feet crossed and on the table. I was on the last level of Yoshi's island when I head a door fly open, It was the new kid. "I-I'm so s-sorry that I-I'm Late!" It's just t-that my dad didn't l-let me leave" he held his head down as if to say 'I feel ashamed' . I admit it I felt a pang of guilt when I saw him. His clothes were full of dust and Soot. But his eyes.... They were a beautiful emerald colour . I could feel myself slowly losing control of myself as I stared in awe.

"U-um sir, n-n-not to be rude b-but you're s-st-aring at me..." Pink dusted his cheeks in embarrassment.

I averted my eyes quickly and cleared my throat. "Sorry, we should, ahem, get er, started.."

"Of course sir.."
