Kokichi, Mikan and Shuichi walked into the cafeteria. The siblings bid their goodbyes to Shuichi and they parted ways. While walking towards Kokichi's usual sitting spot, Angie called them out.

"Hello Ouma-kun and... uhh-" "M-Mikan Tsumiki" Mikan told her. "Oh, ok then, hello Ouma-kun and Tsumiki-chan! Would you like to sit with us? Atua says you are potential friends!" Angie said, smiling.

"A-Atua?" Mikan whispered to Kokichi. "Yonaga-chan is in some kind of cult, don't worry about it, I'm about 57% sure she won't sacrifice you to Atua." Kokichi whispered back. "Very r-reassuring." Mikan retorted, sarcasm evident on her voice. Kokichi grinned. "It's more than 50%!"

"Yonaga-chan, we would not like to sit with y-" Kokichi was cut off by his sister, who seemed to have other ideas. "Of c-course Yonaga-san!" Kokichi's glare was ignored as Mikan grabbed his arm and dragged him towards Angie's table.

Once they were sitting down on the table, Tenko started a conversation. "Hello Tsumiki-san, I'm Tenko Chabashira! You've already met Yonaga-chan and this is Himiko Yumeno." She introduced. "Nyeh, I can introduce myself Chabashira-chan." Said Himiko, still half asleep. "Sorry Yumeno-chan!"

"Nice to m-meet all of y-you." Mikan said politely. Kokichi rolled his eyes, poking his food with a fork. If this conversation was going to be the one with fake smiles and polite words, he was going to be super bored. Where was the 1ltr panta bottle to distract himself when he needed it?

A conversation soon started developing in between the girls. Kokichi payed no mind to it, concetrating on poking his food. Then a topic that involved Kokichi arose and he started paying attention to the conversation.

"Say Tsumiki-san, is that degenerate male a good brother to you?" Tenko asked. "Kokichi? Y-yeah! O-once you get p-past all the l-layers of craziness, h-he's pretty much the most c-clingy and nice person you c-could ever meet." Mikan said, proud of her brother.

Kokichi almost choked on the tiny bite he had taken of his scrambled eggs.

"Wait really? He's so-" Himiko yawned "- annoying with everyone, it's almost impossible to imagine Ouma-kun being caring with someone." She finished.

"Huh? He's not annoying w-with most of t-the people h-he trusts. Try to g-gain his t-trust. you'll s-see that he's a b-big softie."

Kokichi flushed out of embarrassment. "Can you all stop talking about me as if I wasn't here?" Mikan smiled and patted his head. "I will punch you." He threatened. Mikan said nothing and kept patting her brothers head.

Kokichi stopped talking, crossing his arms and pouting like a child. Himiko sure was surprised with how Kokichi had shut up quickly.

"Nyeh!? How did you make Ouma-kun shut up so quickly?" both Mikan and Kokichi looked at Himiko. "Well, Kokichi's touch s-starved, and l-likes -physical affection so if you w-want something from h-him just give him hugs and pats. S-Sometimes it doesn't w-work though."

"So, he's like a neko but without ears and tail?" Angie questioned. "I-if you want to put it t-that way." Mikan responded. Angie looked at Kokichi as if she was a butterfly catcher and Kokichi was the butterfly. Kokichi stiffened, ready to flee from the room.

"Yonaga-chan whatever you're thinking of doing, don't."

Kokichi got up from his seat, slowly backing up from Angie, who was following him closely. The walking turned into jogging and the jogging turned into sprinting around the cafeteria. Everyone was staring at them as if they had grown a second head.

"You can't run away Ouma-kun!" Angie said. She spread her arms and tried to catch Kokichi but was unable, losing her balance and falling onto the floor. Kokichi laughed as he ran, getting relatively closer to the exit. "You'll never catch me alive!" He shouted. Kokichi opened the doors of the cafeteria and left, Angie back on his tail.

"Well, while those two are doing whatever they are, would you mind answering a question Tsumiki-san?" Tenko asked. "S-sure, shoot."

"Why is it that you and Ouma-kun have diferent surnames but come from the same family?" Mikan seemed a bit stunned that she had noticed that detail. Well who wouldn't though? "Oh, right, I-I changed my surname w-when I turned e-eighteen b-because of personal reasons..." She responded, trailing off at the end, it was obvious that she didn't want to talk about the topic anymore.

"Hmm, ok. Chabashira-chan was simply curious, you don't need to tell us your reasons of why you changed your surname." Himiko chimed in before Tenko could touch of a sensitive topic. She looked around, noticing that Kokichi and Angie were already gone.

"Nyeh, we should go look for those two before they somehow end up killing each other." Himiko suggested. They all agreed, leaving the cafeteria to look for Kokichi and Angie.
