Mario sprinted along the ground, weapon in hand. He jumped through the air like a graceful warrior and shot at a target, taking it out with perfect precision. Behind him, was Douglas and Aliya, working together to defeat any targets and moving obstacles. It was hard for Aliya to run around constantly and not be able to use her wings, but she was starting to get used to it.
As they finished off their targets, Anthony came rushing in, with an all new suit and weapon in his hands. Instead of his trusty trident, he held an ink glaive: a large metal pole with a short sword on the end of it. The sword was sharpened to a point and had ink ejectors at the base of the blade so he could throw or shoot ink attacks at his opponents.

Currently, he was the only one with the new weapon, but he promised newer arsenals later that day after their training session.

It had been one week since Anthony and Jahshua's run-in with Wren and his Reverb team. Everyone now knows that Meggy is no longer Splatsquad and now Reverb. Mario also has everyone convinced that she has betrayed Splatsquad completely and now has feelings for Wren.

This had everyone in an absolute frenzy since no one suspected it would ever happen. Everyone was doubling efforts to give Splatsquad some of the best material in order to defeat Reverb just to show them that they were better than them.
Axol and Melony, though just getting back from a honeymoon after being married, were the ones putting in the most effort aside from Anthony, who had his own agenda to fulfill.

Anthony: Come on, come on...Where are they?

Tari: What exactly are you waiting for? Aren't you the one organizing this arsenal for Splatsquad?

Luigi: I thought that too.

Anthony: They'll be here in a bit...They're just...taking their time.

Mario: Well I'm getting impatient. You promised us new artillery against those Reverb freaks, and I'm sorry, but I don't see any Calvary or help coming.

Anthony: They're on their way! I just know it!

Douglas: Maybe...They're just running late?

Aliya: What...exactly are we supposed to be looking for?

Anthony: A ship.

Mario: Then why are you watching the sky?

Douglas: He's referencing a spaceship, Mario.

Mario: Oh! That explains it!

Aliya: How small is this thing? Do you see it?

Anthony: Eh...It's a bit larger than my ship. Nothing too special.

They kept standing around, when all of a sudden, they heard police sirens and other sounds coming from the city.

Mario: Huh...I wonder what's going on?
