Announcer: Welcome, to the third annual International Splatfest Competition! We are excited to announce that once again, sales are through the roof for the third time as fans come to watch the great Splatsquad once again! They've been blowing away the charts with their performance!
Feet run along the ground as someone climbs a shallow slope and jumps gracefully into the air. The person pulls out a Splattershot and fires into a small team of four, taking them out with ease.
Meggy: Booyah! Once again, Meggy takes the victory!
Douglas: Now you're just getting cocky.
Meggy: Heh. You are thinking the same thing. Admit it.
Douglas: Mmm...Yeah you're right.
Mario and Meggy sit atop a building within Mushroom City Belmont, and watch a sunset together.
Meggy: I can't believe it's time once again.
Mario: Yeah. Me neither. It feels like just yesterday we won for the first time and took out Killer Ink for good and became the flaming phoenix icon of Splatfests!
