Hey sorry I haven't posted in awhile but I am now so Comment, vote and fan me. I hope this story gets popular and I hope you like it. I don't own Ghost Hunt or the characters I do own the idea and Rose.

~~~John's POV~~~~
'Darkness, that's all I saw. Just empty there was nothing in site, I turned around and kept hearing voices they sounded a lot like Rose and Naru. I saw a tiny light, I started heading towards it until I was in a flashback to the day of our parents accident.'
---Flashback--- (John: Age 7. Rose: Age 6)
"Hurry John. Mommy and Daddy are not going to be happy if were late for dinner." giggled Rose. Rose was currently riding on her brothers back. They were walking home from the park after school, but Rose tripped and sprained her ankle so John is carrying her. "Don't worry we'll get home in time Rosie." said John using her nickname. Suddenly they stopped they heard a siren. "Hey look John! Its a police car!" said Rose.
Rose was fascinated with cops. "I see. Wait! Its heading towards *gasp* Hold on tight Rosie I'm going to run." said John. Rose gripped her arms around her brother and John started running towards their house.
---At The Brown's House---
"Sir can you explain whats going on?" asked John to the cop. "Are you John Brown?" asked the cop. "Yes." said John. Rose looked around and saw a car totally destroyed. "I'm assuming the little girl on your back is Rose Brown. Yes?" said the cop.
John nodded and the cop continued. "I'm sorry but your parents have passed away in a car accident. A drunk driver came out of no where and hit them." "W-what?" asked Rose to her brother with tears going down her face. "I will give you a minute." said the cop walking back to his car. John gently set Rose on the sidewalk, careful of her ankle and said. "Rosie I want you to be strong for me okay? I'm going to find out what we are going to do and if I have to take care of you I promise I am going to be the best brother ever." said John hugging his sister.
"O-okay *sniffles* I will be a big girl." said Rose. "That's my little sister. I'm going to be right there asking that cop what we are going to do." said John pointing to the cop that helped them earlier. Rose nodded and watched her brother walk away.
"Hi little girl I bet your Rose huh? I'm Julie" asked a female cop sitting next to her. " Y-yeah." mumbled Rose. "Where's your brother?" asked Julie. "He went to talk with a c-cop. We don't know whats g-going to happen." said Rose. Julie looked at her with sadness filling her eyes. "Hun your going to stay with your Aunt and Uncle in the next town over." "Oh." mumbled Rose.
"Rose!!" yelled John running to her. "Rosie we are going to Auntie Lisa and Uncle Joe's house. Rosie mommy and daddy died." "*sobs* I r-realized that." said Rose. John picked her up and placed her on his back. He thanked Julie and they headed to the cop's car to go to there new home with there Aunt and Uncle.
*Flashback end*
'I didn't even realized how much more responsible I've become since then. I remembered I promised Rose I would protect her with my life. Another flashback happened, it was the day Rose told me of her ability.'
*Flashback* (John: Age 15, Rose: Age 14)
"John!! I'm home from school!" yelled Rose walking into her house. "Hey Rose, how was school and how was that test?" asked John. "It was a very boring day and my test went well, I think I did good." said Rose. John hugged her and said thats good.
"Hey John can I tell you something?" asked Rose sitting on the couch now with John. "Of course, go right ahead." "Well, when I was little I found out I had this "Talent" I guess you can call it. I can see and talk with spirits." explained Rose.
John was about to reply when darkness consumed him
*Flashback end*
'I hear a voice.' "John this is all my fault." 'Rose? Rose its not your fault' "*chuckles sad* I guess you would say its not my fault, but it is." 'You know me well Rose'
'I walked to where I heard her voice. Suddenly I was engulfed by a bright light.'

'I woke up to see Rose asleep on a chair near my bed. I looked around and saw I was in a hospital bed. I shook Rose awake.' "Rose wake up." I said.
----Normal POV----
Rose stirred and woke up she saw John awake. " *gasp* JOHN!!" yelled Rose.
