Chapter 10: Tales of the new bloods (part two)

Yuuki: I'll go next. I am Yuuki and Ocust is my twin brother. I am daughter of Shawn and Coal. I was born with a very special power to look into the past and future. I always get my work done and pay attention to my parent's teachings. Ok. I admit. I was a nerd. Shawn and Coal pushed me to become friends with the children of their friends.... But I was a know it all and they only really put up with me because their parents told them so.

Haert: Yeah.... We were so bored of hearing your lectures.....

Yuuki: Yeah.... At first I thought friends were a distraction from study... but that was a lie... I was lonely and wanted to talk to others..... So I listened to them for a change. They showed me that life isn't just what is described in books. So I told jokes. I made fun of the things I hated and that was enough. Everyone then accepted me. Your up Ocust.

Ocust: Well you know my name. I was born with a special class, not power. The class was unheard of: Lier. After realizing that no amount of studying was going to give me answers I started skipping lectures. Yuuki was the favorite child. I was the rebellious one. Remember what I said earlier.... Well... After a time... I just wanted to make dad proud...to make him acknowledge me... So I did the rituals. Dad REALLY didn't want us to become warlocks, but I just didn't have the magical talent... The patron was curious about my unique class.....

Yuuki: Shawn didn't want us to go through what he did... Shawn got his powers from something else so when Shawn stopped doing his patron's bidding he slowly lost his powers.

Ocust: I couldn't even activate any of my skills or classes and I got a big scary "Error" every time I tried.... So the patron as an experiment unlocked it and it desided I was too much of a wild card and left. I was alone and I still refused to accept I was just a disappointment and then I told myself the first lie with my power. "I have to be a spell caster.... I'm a child of two powerful spell casters.... Surely I have magic potential within me just like Yuuki that I haven't unlocked yet....I'm going to unlock it now....."

Yuuki: I....I didn't know you thought of yourself like that..... You shouldn't have to go through all that...

Ocust: I ended up believing that lie. I forgotten that I started skipping classes because I couldn't do it and thought I skipped classes because they were boring and just told me things I already knew. I had become a spell caster... My first skill I ever used was called: Magic Deception. I deceived magic itself into believing I was a talented spell caster.

Haert: Is that even possible?

Ocust: It is. No mana cost to use my skills. No life cost. No stamina cost.... The only cost was the more I used it the harder it was for me to tell what was a lie and what was real. I would go out fighting monsters come up unharmed but when I got back home they saw I was bleeding a lot... Sometimes I end up using my lies on my own lies as I start to believe them.....

Yuuki: Ocust..... Why didn't you tell me?

Ocust: I couldn't tell if I was telling you or if you were asking... I was so confused... So I kept it to myself. I have other skills now that I unlocked. I have body deception where I can do various stuff with the body. Haert... your next.

Haert: Well... I am Haert. Son of Deekin and Niko. I nearly died many times... I almost didn't make it through birth... Once I did I got sick and nearly died... Both cases were due to heart problems.... So my name comes from that.... At age five I had a series of heart failures.... I was given a total of two heart transplants before something strange happened.... I was beginning to change. I was gaining skills from those I stayed around. I was at the hospital a lot so I ended up with a lot of medical skills and even one skill that was supposed to be unique.
