 Ruby: According to Eos's yapping he said that creature was close to something only after "scanning" or whatever it was doing. Sigh... What happens if the scan completes? Do I die? Do I change? Do I become a furry? I don't know. GHA! I hate not knowing! I can't believe the Master Appraisal skill didn't really work.

Ruby decides to go take a shower to clear her thoughts. She leaves the Starstone on her bed and takes a shower. Ruby can't help but feel drawn to figuring out what it does. Ruby wasn't able to clear her thoughts so after she was done and she dried off before she could put on clothes she grabs the Starstone and inspects it again.

Ruby: I MUST know what it does..... 75%....that number taunts me! I half wish he succeeded just so I would know what it did..... Come on..... Show me your secrets.....

Ruby spends the next two hours fiddling with it yet no results were made. It was driving Ruby mad. This was not mere curiosity but an obsession. Ruby swore she wouldn't do anything else, sleep, put on clothes, go to work, eat, ect until she had figured out it's secrets. It was about that time Eos woke back up.

Eos sits outside of Ruby's room waiting for her to come out. He knows Ruby would be very mad if he were to walk in uninvited. The last time that had happen he had to sleep outside. But after five minutes past dinner time Eos went through the door like a ghost. He gets flustered and blush when he sees Ruby there naked fiddling with the Starstone and looks away.

Eos: kkkkkkkkyu! (I-I-I-I didn't mean to intrude! I didn't see you naked! I'm not looking!)

Ruby doesn't even respond as she ignores him.

Ruby: GHA! Tell me your secrets!

Eos: K-kyu? (R-Ruby?)

Ruby: If you aren't here to lend me a hand then leave. I'm BUSY.

Eos: GRRRRRRR! Ky K U eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! (gggrrr.... Ruby. It's time to EAT. I'm hungry. You will feed me noooooooooooow!)

Ruby: I'm not eating until I figure this out. You go serve yourself. You aren't a dog.

Eos stops and things about it on one hand he could eat all the food he wants and just leave Ruby to be hungry or he could be loyal and stick by Ruby's side and help her.

Eos: eyu....uyes.........(What to do? What to do?)

Eos then desided to split the difference He was going to help her by making her eat.

Eos: GGGGRRRRR!

Ruby: WHOA! Calm down Eos! Down boy! Down!

Eos: keyu kuee Ke kyu! (I'm done with this! You are too obsessed with that rock. If you don't get dressed and get food with me I'll shove it down your rear!)

Ruby: ...

Eos: kyu... (Please...)

Ruby: You know that this thing is massive. I think I'll die if you did that. Still I guess I forgot how angry you get if I don't feed you when it's dinner time. Ten more minutes. I promise. If not... well don't go through with your threat....

Eos: Keeee. (That remains to be seen.)

Ruby decides to move the crystal all over her body in case it really was scanning her and then the item's effect changed.
