so what's it about?
Amery Ekker is not a member of the 100 delinquents who were to be sent down to Earth. Maybe the worst thing she's ever done in her life is have a crush on the already-taken Raven Reyes a while back. But she's fixing something in the dropship when — surprise! — it gets launched early. So, Amery has no choice but to buckle up and accept her fate or get pummeled by the atmosphere.
Luckily, two of her closest friends were also sent down. Cash Turner and Keaton Sinclair keep Amery's head level amid the chaos that unfolds on the ground. Instead of establishing a new society, the kids have to focus on fighting in a war they never wanted. And what good will they be against trained warriors when they can't stop fighting amongst themselves?
It turns out that there's a lot to be fixed on Earth, and Amery feels like she's in over her head. Thankfully, there's an angel named Monty Green to help her out. He has a unique perspective on life that Amery appreciates. Plus, he's practically a walking plant encyclopedia.
As the tension grows in the camp, Amery finds herself drawing closer to Monty's soft personality. Who knew that a single leaf could hold so much symbolic weight?

— Rachel and I have been homies ever since she started reading my fics way back in the Year Of Hell (2016). So, when she published her first fanfic, of COURSE I had to be there to hype it up. And she was all, "This is my first fanfiction," and published this absolute MASTERPIECE that has Oscar Wilde himself quaking in a corner.
— Seriously, like. It's so good. The writing, the characters, the plot... everything is perfect. Amery is hilarious and wonderful to read about.

— Cash and Keaton also have my heart❤️❤️ I love how she incorporates her OCs deeper into the storyline and give them their own things to do! Sometimes in The 100 fanfics, the OCs are usually doing the same 4 things, so seeing the trio being integrated into the universe in different ways is really refreshing.
