"You claim that the Hive God of lies is behind this?"
"I do."
"And do you think she will take action against us as well? What about House Light, Caiatl, and the Awoken?"
"That's an inadequate question. It's not a matter of if, It's a matter of when. The Witch Queen's web has spread far and wide. She has already set in motion events that will alter the course of human history."
"Will it be anything close to the collapse?"
"No... It will be worse."

The H.E.L.M, Earth...
9:34 am...
Crow: "What's your problem with me, Petra?"
So here I am, listening to Petra and Crow squabble about Savathun. I would say that is what she wants but Petra doesn't take criticism by anyone except the queen lightly.
Petra: "Better men than you have died defending it."
Crow: "To my ears it sounds like you're the liability. Perhaps the queen's trust in you was misplaced."
Petra quickly raised her knife to his throat. The edge of the blade sliced delicately against Crow's skin. I didn't dare intervene but I kept a steady grip on my cannon in case Crow decided to push his luck. Even though Crow is a guardian, Petra is the better fighter and a quick slice to Glint would've rendered Crow mortal.
Crow: "A knife against a Hunter? Heh, you should learn how to pick your fights."
Petra: "One more step and I'll have my corsairs prepare you a second grave."
Glint: "Save it for the Hive both of you!"
Somehow Glint managed to disperse the two. Crow walked away and vanished into white, Vex like squares.
Glint: "Oh, oh no." The ghost vanished soon after.
Petra: "Keep both eyes on that one." With a glance and a nod she did the same.
"...Wow, not even a thank you."
Roman: "To be fair, you did piss her off at the bar."
My ghost was a prickly little cunt. He always managed to find the worst thing to say at the right time. My fireteam had taken to calling him chatterbox and surprisingly he went along with it.
"She lent me 75 glimmer to buy drinks. So what did I do? I bought drinks."
Roman: "She said that she wanted compensation."
"Whatever, I'll ask Mara to give her money or something."
The corsairs around me shook their heads in disappointment. They weren't the talkative types, but who knew that they could say so many things with simple looks and glares.
I walked down a staircase that led to the Wayfinder's Compass and a large radio transmitter. It hummed to life as I approached. The purple and tan colors of the room were replaced with a translucent white. Petra's face materialized from the projector on top of the case. She told me the Mara had ordered her not to let Crow converse with Savathun which was fair given the damage she had already done. She said her pettiness did not dictate her decision but she was tempted to disclose that in the argument. The memory of Cayde was still a fresh wound in everyone's mind. Some just dealt with the painful memories differently than others.
Petra: "With Mara back I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. It's a long time coming."
The projector fizzled out and a cache of Parallax Trajectory came up from the Compass. Roman scanned it and the significant amount of currency disappeared.
