Albeit the blue-eyed warrior was already dressed rather warmly, he still couldn't suppress a shiver against the prickling chills of the November winds. Tightening his grip around the papers in his gloved hand, the man hurried his pace back to his humble cottage, not at all reluctant to shield himself from the wailing winds.

Once inside, Technoblade took off his coat, brushing off a number of thin, brittle leaves that had stuck onto his cape which he also removed with a quick shrug of his shoulders. After seating himself besides the fire to warm himself up, the man donned his reading glasses, brushing away a few stray strands of hair that were blocking his vision.

Lifting up the piece of paper he'd been holding onto for the entire duration of the trip, Techno briefly straightened out a few crinkles before beginning to read, sapphire blue irises moving rapidly left to right as they skimmed the letter addressed to him by his absent darling.

Dear Techno,

Bitter autumn sorrows are weighing heavily upon my shoulders. Whenever I look up at the monochrome skies dotted with brittle brown leaves, watching as they flutter higher into the sky then back down, settling gently onto the already covered dirt floor, I'm reminded of past regretful memories, and the secrets I've hidden from you and the boys. It's making me bitter, and as my tears slowly leak out of my eyes, it suddenly begins to rain, as if the Lord is symbolizing his sympathy by hiding my tears in the rain.

It's a gentle sprinkle, the soft pitter-patter of the raindrops filling up my ears as I endeavor to cease my useless sobbing. It's all pent up in my chest, and I let out when last cry before I've finally calmed down, and the drizzle slowly stops. The pink flower petals of the trees above have been scattered across the ground during the short duration of the rain, and as I step across the road filled with dead leaves and petals, it's curious how two things so different could be combined into such a beautiful picture.

I look up into the sky one last time, shielding my eyes as the soft glow of the sun shows itself amongst the gaps of the clouds.

Perhaps, even through this dreary time, my own sun can shine too.

Your friend,

Amber.

"Another short one..." the man closed his eyes. A melancholy expression came about his features as he sat, thinking about the memories he shared with the absentee. Like Amber, Techno too, had many regretful memories. However, the past was in the past, and only the future can be changed.

"Always look forward, and never back, because if you do, you'll never know what's coming up," Technoblade slowly murmured to himself, standing up from his seated position.

"Of course you would say that, you were always too optimistic for your own good."

Hey everyone,

This is Blue here. I have regretfully dropped out of the MCYT fandom, and this book will be discontinued. I'm still subscribed to the Youtubers and such, but I don't watch them as often, especially the Dream SMP. As a result, I will still leave this book out, maybe occasionally posting something here, but that'll be it. If you want to continue on this book yourself, you can DM me and we'll talk about how it'll work, for example, I'll explain what I originally wanted the plot to be, etc., and credentials.

Thank you all so much for giving the love and support for this book, and I truly regret with all my heart that I will not finish it.

I'm more active on my main account which you can find in my bio here, where I upload Genshin fanfictions.

Once again, thank you all so much for the love and support!

Sincerely,

Blue
