Tᕼᗴ trip to Charleston was long, tense and silent. Ward had made it clear after paying Barry for Rafe's debt that if his son didn't get help, he was out. He couldn't come back home. Rafe had thought for only a second that his dad was bluffing and even went to his ex boyfriend to see if he could stay with Xander for a while. That was the thing with Xan, they had used to be best friends until they got involved and then everything between them just got too complicated. Xander of course told him that he had to get help, that he couldn't come crawling back to try and crash at the Mayor's house not to mention his ex had moved on with JJ Maybank of all people.

Rafe could feel the last of his high from the line of coke he had snorted passing through him, though remnants of the white powder still clung to his nose hairs causing him to snort and wipe at his nose as Ward parked his Range Rover on the opposite side of the street then the Charleston Rehabilitation Center.

The building looked old, not in a falling down and disgruntled kind of way but in the fancy as old Victorian homes kind of way. Black iron gates circled it with windows a plenty and old brown brick with one side covered in lush ivy. Rafe almost snorted at the aesthetic. Rehab for rich kids. "You know this is for your own good." Ward didn't look at him as he spoke, his thoughts racing elsewhere towards his problems back home. "I won't be able to make it to the visitations, I've got business I have to settle back home first."
