TᕼᗴO stared at Rafe's empty room. The door was opened but the occupant nowhere in sight. Rafe was still at the hospital and wouldn't be returning until the following day. Mr. Daviss had thought Theo should know. Why? Well, that was beyond Theo's comprehension.

It was raining, the weather outside all gray and dark blues. Depressing and dreary which fit Theo's mood as he left his dorm, slowly making his way downstairs and to the common room where his mom waited beside, to Theo's shock, his sister.

Victoria was tapping her foot impatiently, popping her gum loudly as she scrolled through her phone. Her long dark hair was was flat ironed straight. Clothes ironed to perfection. Not a visible flaw on her. It made Theo want to gag. "Oh, sweetheart." Lydia walked quickly to him, pulling him down into a hug. It was the only comforting action Theo ever truly received. Though, after all the hugs he had received from his mother, he never learned to hug back. His hands would raise but never touch her as if he were afraid if he allowed himself to give in, to care and feel love then everything would be ripped away from him.

"You look utterly execrable, Theodore." Victoria locked her phone, grasping it in her hand as she pursed her lips together, eyes scrutinizing her brother head to toe, looking very much like their father in doing so.
