Duryodhan forcefully married Bhanumati, Mata Kunti and Mata Madri were in their chamber
"Karn?" asked Mata Kunti, I walked to them I touched their feet
"Bless me, Mata, to defeat Duryodhan and Ashwathama and take Bhanumati back to Kaling with due respect." I said
"A woman's honour is like glass, Karn. A man can only break it. He can not fix it. Returning Bhanumati would only mean repeating a historical mistake Tatshree also made the same mistake by returning Amba. Nither was Amba accepted nor will Bhanumati be accepted." said Mata Kunti
"What kind of law is this, Mate?" I asked
"It is men who made this law. In a male-dominated society, only men decide whether a woman is pure or not." Mata Kunti
"So, will Bhanumati never receive justice?" I asked
"She will. She certainly will." said Mata Madri

Pithashree, Jyesht Yudhisthir, Bhrata Bheem, Nakul, Sahadev, Pitamaha, Kakashree, Kulguru, Tatshree, Duryodhan, Ashwathama, Dushasan, Gandhar Raj and I were in the family court
"A Rajya's greatness lies not in its wealth but in its capability to deliver justice. Justice, which is alike for Rajao and Das both. And Hastinapur has a good reputation in this regard. Rajkumar Duryodhan abducted Rajkumari Bhanumati from her Swayamvar. Now we will have to decide whether his actions will be called bravery or a crime." said Pitamaha, he looked at Duryodhan

"Bhrata, as per the Shashtr there are eight kinds of marriages Brahma Vivah, Daiva Vivah, Arya Vivah, Prajapatya Vivah, Gandharv Vivah, Asur Vivah, Rakshas Vivah, and Pishach Vivah." said Dushasan
"And as per the laws of the Rakshas Vivah if a man defeats the others and abducts a woman then that woman is considered his Patni. And Rajkumari Bhanumati is now my Patni. I promise you all in this family court that Bhanumati will receive the honour of being my wife. Bhanumati will remain my only wife. I will not marry any other woman." said Duryodhan
"What honour, Duryodhan?" asked Bhrata Bheem, we looked at him
"You abducted her from a court full of people you humiliated her. How are you going to honour her?" asked Bhrata Bheem
"Rajkumar Bheem." called Ashwathama, we all looked at him
"A woman's honour-"
"Enough, Dron Putra." said Pitamaha interrupting Ashwathama
"Your presence in this court is only because of your friendship with Duryodhan you do not have the right to speak." said Pitamaha, Ashwathama kept quiet
"You asked Dron Putra Ashwathama to stay silent, Mahamahim. But what are you going to do about the Shashtr? My nephew Dushasan just mentioned that as per the Shashtr this marriage is in no way unjust." said Gandhar Raj
"So, are you trying to prove that Bhrata Duryodhan is a Rakshas, Gandhar Raj?" asked Nakul mischievously, Jyesht Yudhisthir, Bhrata Bheem, Nakul, Sahadev and I smiled trying to control our laughter
"Nakul." snapped Pitamaha, we stopped smiling
"No, Duryodhan. It is wrong to implement the law in the Shashtr for selfish gains. There are many more conditions to Rakshas Vivah which do not apply here. But I will-"
"Mahamahim." Tatshree stoped Pitamaha
"Every law has several parts to it. Kulguru Kripacharya, you tell us. Is Rakshas Vivah mentioned in the Shashtr?" said Tatshree
"It is, but-"
"Then what are you arguing for? The decision is taken by Rajkumar Duryodhan did not violate any law. Nor has he done something that was not done before in the history of this Rajya I declare Rajkumar Duryodhan innoc-" said Tatshree
"Dhritarashtr!" snapped Pitamaha interrupting Tatshree
"This is the Maharaj's decision to take. And you are not the Maharaj." said Pitamaha
"Rajkumar Duryodhan you want to be the Yuvraj. But your actions are decreasing the respect the Praja has for you. And Tatshree is right It is wrong to implement the law in the Shashtr for selfish gains." said Pithashree
"Dasi!" called Pithashree a Dasi came in
"Bring Rajkumari Bhanumati to the court, please." said Pithashree, we all were shocked by what Pithashree said the Dasi gave a bow and left
"If Rajkumari Bhanumati doesn't accept you Rajkumar Duryodhan then you yourself will return Rajkumari Bhanumati to Kaling with due respect and apologize to Kaling Naresh for your misbehaviour." said Pithashree, Rajkumari Bhanumati entered the family court with the Dasi. Pithashree gave a nod and the Dasi left
"Rajkumari Bhanumati, it is decided that if you don't wish to accept Rajkumar Duryodhan then you will be returned to Kaling with due respect and Rajkumar Duryodhan will apologize to your Pithashree for his misbehaviour." said Pithashree
"And after that? Who will marry me What Maharani Kunti said is true, a woman's honour is like glass men can only break it. He can not fix it. I have heard the tale of Kashi Kumari Amba, Maharaj. Should I follow her path and go beg for justice before Rajao? And in the end, the fire of dejection will burn me to ashes. "I accept my fate, Maharaj. But I need time, I can not accept him immediately." said Rajkumari Bhanumati
