I am planting Tulsi smiling thinking about Arjun, his hospitality, his loyalty, his honesty, his bravery. His outer beauty was nothing compared to his inner beauty.

"What seed is that?" I heard Maa I shivered slightly realising I zoned out, I smiled digging the soil

"Tulsi again? Your favourite plant? Maa, if you sow Tulsi seeds at first light on Ekadashi the plant grows faster. So, I came here early in the morning." I said looking at Maa she was wearing the usual, white.

"If great things are not done at the right time you don't get proper results. It is futile to do it, then." said Maa, I looked at her

"Now, your nat walking about the plant." I said, Maa smiled she put her hand on my shoulder

"Urvi, this is the right time for your Vivah." said Maa, my lips curved into a smile

"I feel we should talk to Karn today itself." said Maa, I smile turned upside down immediately I turned away and sowed the Tulsi seed and covered it up

"What happened, Urvi? You nither gave a reply nor any sight of joy listening about your Vivah." said Maa

"Maa, Karn is my Mitr. In fact my best Mitr just like Govind, I don't love him." I said

"If you don't love Karn then do you love someone else?" asked Maa, I looked away thinking about Arjun

"Urvi, I'm asking you something." said Maa

"N- no. I don't love anyone else either." I lied

"If there is no one else then why are you hesitating in converting friendship with Karn into Vivah? You know Karn's qualities more than me. His bravery, glory, respect, strength. Is there anyone who can compete against him?" said Maa, I gave a low sigh

"Maa, you think that Tulsi is my favourite plant, right?" I asked watering the Tulsi

"And it is obvious. The qualities of Tulsi are unique. Medicinal, pure and used in prayers. Even the roots of Tulsi is good for the soil." I said finishing watering the Tulsi

"But let me be honest, Maa. Tulsi isn't my favourite plant. My favourite plant is that." I said jerking my head at the Datura

"Datura. Thorny if you touch it, it pricks. Poisonous. Wild. It doesn't even grow that easily." I said I giggled

"And it is of no use to me. But when its flavours blossom I feel like it is my fragrance. When it grows my heart starts racing." I said, I turned to Maa

"It isn't necessary that I'm looking for the same qualities in my life partner which you and I liked in Karn. Maa, I never fell in love. Maybe, that is why I never understood it. But Karn became my friend. And just because you are asking if I think about it even then- even then I don't have the feelings of love for Karn."

"Urvi, what are you sayin-"

"Pranipat." we heard Karn greet, Maa and I looked at the doors and saw Karn smiling

"By looking at the environment, I think a debate was going on between you both."

"Yes. And the topic was, whether Tulsi is good or Datura." I said, Karn chuckled

"Evry normal person in the world would choose Tulsi." said Karn looking at Maa, Karn looked at me mischievously

"But you're not even from this world. A stupid girl like you would definitely choose Datura." said Karn, I laughed

"You're absolutely right." I said

"Urvi, Maharani, I heard your entire argument and neither do I have any feelings towards Urvi." said Karn, Maa hesitated she was hiding something

"Maa, what are you hiding?" I asked

"Err... Urvi... it's that, umm..." Maa hesitated

"Maa!" I snaped

"I propose to Maharaj Pandu for your and Karn's Vivah." said Maa, Karn and I exchanged shocked looks
